Guest guest
Air is also of importance for life. Oxygen (O2) is essential for the process of combustion taking place in all the various cells of the body. When we inhale, O2 in the air dissolves in our blood flowing through the fine capillaries in the lungs, and is thus carried to every cell in the body. Carbon dioxide (CO2) and other toxic substances are formed in the cells as the end products of combustion and other processes taking place in the cells. CO2 thus formed and dissolves in the blood. When this impure blood carry CO2 reaches the lungs, it get exhaled with it. In short, the blood gets purified in the lungs. Always breathe through nose, as the hair in nose act as a filter for fine dust particles in the air. Moreover, air gets warmed up in passing through the nasal passsages, which has a salutary effect in the lungs. Always take deep breaths to ventilate lungs. Cool breeze of the early mornings being fresh, pure and rich in oxygen, purifies the blood and the body, fills the mind with cheer and joie de vivre. Note: For older folks and sick patients, try to have regular deep breathings in the early morning to improve overall health.
