Guest guest
Get some Sambucol which is elderberry syrup. Elderberry flower and rose hip tea will start to drain the sinuses pretty fast also. Hot salt and vinegar gargles work well too. This sounds silly but if you wear a cap to bed, it also helps because it keeps the head warm. Vicks Vapor Rub in the nose and a little on the tongue and applied to neck especially on back of ears and while you are at it rub it on chest and back. These are all remedies that I use as I have lots of trouble with sinus infections. Put some Vicks in the hot steamy water too. An old trick I learned and it really works to drain the sinuses is to wear shoes with a heel if you usually wear flats or vice versa. Don't know why but it works. You can also get on all fours and lift your butt up in the air with the head on the floor, hold position till sinuses start to drain. Good luck. Have everyone wash their hands with soap every time they blow their nose and keep used tissues in a bag to be discarded as soon as possible. Peace, Thyme
Guest guest
Just getting over one, myself. The only thing that works like a charm is bee products (for me, anyway.) If you are not allergic, Bee Propolis is a natural antibiotic. It's what the bees use to disinfect their hives. When I feel a sinus infection coming on, I take about 2 to 3 thousand milligrams. It knocks it right out. Certain types of Sambuccol has propolis in it (the sambuccol for kids, and I think the Immune system sambuccol). I just buy it in pill form, and take lots of raw honey for my throat. Hope this helps!

Guest guest
We use grapefruit seed extract. Start with the liquid and then the tablets for to keep from getting colds. This is also good for allergies. Patty - Chris A.
