Guest guest
What exactly IS cream of tartar? The fact that it is being used doesn't mean a thing in itself. Aspartame is used. That doesn't make it safe. Renee mentioned something about it being a side product of wine making? More information, please? Guest guest
Diane.. I did not receive your original email as to what you were using cream of tartar for? Is it for detox, or a specific problem? Please do keep us up to date. Most interesting. Diane M/Florida
Guest guest
Hi Diana. I have not heard of it being used with the lemon and Epsom salts. How is it done? Guest guest
Renee or whom it may concern; A couple questions if you don't mind. 1. after you get taking cream tartar up to twice daily is it total of 1 teaspon OR total of 2 teaspoons?? 2. I know many things in our New age diets cause Candida; so is there a suggested diet that people should be following while doing this detox type cleanse, and what type of diet should they follow afterwards? 3. If a Woman has Bacteria Vaginosis during pregnancy (build up of Bacteria assumably BAD) Could they do this Cream Tartar drink to your knowledge? This question is because my daughter is dealing with this issue and I know or was told it was candida related. We just discovered this issue with my daughter Tuesday evening 12/19, and well I know we may not beable to balance her out any time soon, but maybe it will give her baby a better chance of not having issues. Any suggestions will be appreciated, and I will be following this all up with a Naturalpathic type counsilor here in my home town. Gabby , " Renee " <gaiacita wrote: > > Hi Nicole. Guest guest
Hi Diane, I am using the Cream of Tartar for essentially Candida. I don't normally have much energy and my head feels cloudy most of the time. I have lots of different symptoms I put down to Candida in the body. It has been over a week now, and I am feeling great. The strange thing is I have been cleaning non stop and I am feeling like having lots of showers! Don't ask me why...maybe its a catch up from years of putting off both and only doing it when I have too!! I had serious diarrhea when I upped the dose to 1 tsp in the morn and 1 tsp at night. However this only lasted 2 -3 days. I have times when my head feels so clear its amazing. I have pockets of times when my childhood flashes in and out. Really nice. My skin which has always been dry and scaly since I was young..has a different look and feel to it. My husband is also taking it and has been having almost identical affects. You do need to make sure you drink heaps of water. I will need to be taking this awhile I think to overcome years of candida in my body..but so far we are so excited to be trying something so easy, affordable and where you get instant results. I will keep you in touch as I go on. Guest guest
Hi Gabby. Here's my little bit of knowledge. :-) 1. It's a total of 2 teaspoons a day--one in the morning an one at night. Work up to that amount, starting with a quarter or half teaspoon in a small glass of water. 2. For Candida they say, diet wise, not to eat any type of yeast foods for a while--bread, brewers yeast, cheese, that type of thing. I'm not sure of what else, as I don't have a yeast problem. There is a GREAT book that anyone with a yeast problem should check out--well, you have to buy it as it s not in book stores. You need to go to the authors web site and read about it there. The site is www.wellatlast.Com You can even write him any questions you might have about the book or his experience with yeast. 3. I have no idea what would be safe for a pregnant woman. Perhaps someone else on the list will answer that question. ---- 1. 3. Guest guest
Thank you for your kind wishes. I am on to my nearly 3rd week of taking Cream of Tartar. It is really important (as I found out) that you always get good quality Cream of Tartar. Yes..there are some budget ones out there that have chalk fillers in them. You can tell if you are drinking a low quality brand as it tastes disgusting and there is alot of chalky residue at the bottom of the glass after drinking it. The powder also feels like it is sticking to your gums and teeth. Yuk! The good stuff however, tastes rather pleasant....bit like wine..after awhile you actually look forward to it. After my first two weeks of feeling good one mo and detoxing the next, I have come to the third week feeling rather yuk. I feel slightly nausous (spelling??) and tired. You will be pleased to know that the diarrahea only lasted 4 days..it came back to haunt me out of the blue in the second week once..and then everythings gone back to normal there. The great things I have noticed putting the detoxing aside is: My breath doesn't stink in the morning anymore. I couldn't even bear it myself sometimes But even my husband delight in the new approved sweet breath. Obviously bad breath can be put down to candida too? My skin is looking good, eyes are looking whiter and I am still getting windows of clarity and childhood memories coming back. I will keep you all informed as I go on. Guest guest
I recommended Cream of Tartar to my friend who used to smoke 60 cigarettes per day. He took 1/2 teaspoon in water during bed time for 15 days. I closely watched him during this period. We reported heavy sweating during his sleep and he could see his bed sheet soak slightly with sweat for the first 4 days. The bad smell of sweat was felt to a high degree. He even took showers at 2 O-clock during night. But sweating and the dirty smell of sweat subsided after four days. I could see him to be more energetic and he could stop smoking completely. But he had slight withdrawal symptoms of smoking - slight shivering of hands etc. I brought all these facts to a medical doctor. He said that no side effects of Cream of Tartar has been studied so far. Bur for a short period like 15 days and for a small dose of 1/2 teaspoon, it will not produce any side effects and also it has been used in baking for centuries. The only thing puzzles me is this. In certain countries, there is a ban on public sale of this product. It is sold through only certain specified stores which have licence to sell this product. If any body knows the reason, please publish. P.J. -- Version: 7.1.408 / Virus Database: 268.15.27/602 - Release 12/25/2006

Guest guest
How bizarre that it is not sold in every supermarket. It is just made from grape juice and is traditionally used in baking? We are almost on our 4th week of taking the Cream of tartar..still getting diarreha every now and then..but my breath is fantastic in the morning..(hasn't been for years) and now and then we will get this amazing energy..other days we are tired. I am guessing it is all the detoxing taking place. My brother and his wife have delayed using the cream of tartar to give up smoking..think they just wanted to get christmas out of the way first. Will let you know how they get on when they do. All the best..and happy new year to you all. Guest guest
It should be in the baking section of every grocery store. If it's not, that s pretty weird indeed. But you can buy it much cheaper in bulk on line. Just do a google search. Samala Renee ---- How bizarre that it is not sold in every supermarket. Guest guest
I started cream of tarter program and have been on it for 3 days now. One thing I noticed was feeling of drowsiness / going to bed within 2 hours of my dosage. Also have a concern that like alcohol which can damage Liver, I am worried if this being a by-product of wine making - can this too hurt your liver. WOULD REQUEST ANY MEDICAL FOLK TO COMMENT. Guest guest
You just add 1/4 tsp to start with, with either water or juice..it doesn't taste too bad. Just make sure it is a good quality (not cheap brand) of cream of tartar as the cheaper brands can put chalk fillers in and its not going to work as well. Increase the amount up to 2 tsp in the morning and 2 tsp at night but do this gradually. You will probably intially have a bit of diarrhea. I am going to personally take acfidofulus to increase the good bacteria in my gut. AS it is all very well to kill off the bad stuff but you really want to be increasing the good stuff for long term results.
