Guest guest
Salam, dearest lady From Egypt, the ancient land of wisdom and civilisation, I write to you, dear lady, to share tha little I know Fasting is one way to purify your inner and outer self. When you fast, meditation becomes more benefitial, and the hunger you feel can make other grieves more tolerable. We fast from sunrise to sunset, no food, no water and no sex, of course. We can pray more than our usual daily prayers (5 daily) and read more in Quraan to get spiritual and moral support to face troubles and sadness in our life. In usual conditions, we fast a whole month of Ramadan every year, and every Mondy and Thursday, and the three full moon nights of every lunar month. It's not only losing weight, but we do lose sadness with it, we become more enlighted when less food enters our fully occupied systems. Please accept my true condolences and offer to share with you whatever you wat to share. Bless you all p.s. SALAM = peace be upon you....it's our greetings in all places and times traviesa0chula1 <traviesa0chula1 wrote: Hello. My name is Maria and I'm looking for some alternative help with my medical/emotional problems. I am a mother of a 2 1/2 year old and recently lost my beautiful angel who was six month old to SIDS in May. Since then I have gained a significant amount of weight, which has caused my all ready messed up back to ache even more. I have joined Curves to start with strengthening and *hopefully* weight loss. But here's the kicker. I work 12 hour night shifts and my sleep pattern is WAY out of whack, which has thrown my eating patterns out of whack as well. I have not have my shakrahs (sp?) cleared in about 5 years and I know that it is not helping with the grieving process. I FEEL so clogged!!! I am very emotional, as to be expected. So, I'm here looking for some advice and maybe a few helpful hints to help me here and there, as well as my family. Also all of this has effected my sexual relationship (which was VERY healthy before the death of our daughter) with my husband. Meditation is starting to sound like a WONDERFUL idea, but with a 2 year old in my house, it's a lil hard...lol. Any advice is welcome Thank you and have a blessed day. ********************************************* Peacefulmind.com Sponsors Alternative Answers- HEALING NATURALLY- Learn preventative and curative measure to take for many ailments at: http://www.peacefulmind.com/ailments.htm __________ -To INVITE A FRIEND to our healing community, copy and paste this address in an email to them: http://health./subs_invite _________ To ADD A LINK, RESOURCE, OR WEBSITE to Alternative Answers please Go to: http://health./links ___________ Post message: Subscribe: - Un: - List owner: -owner _______ Shortcut URL to this page: http://health. Be God fearing: Always think that there is the super power which cotrol you and your problems and /or dieases. To believe in god means your mind will start thinking that there is something/some power which cotrol you and problems. Which will help to overcome from unnecessary uneasiness/fatiuge. It is just like a child, who plyas around, leaving all his/her warries aside on the strength of parent. 2. Don't always be unhappy with the course of life. As life itself is the medicine. There is one proverb which says something that when pain-sorrows-griefs-suffering increases the limit than all sch sorrows-griefs-suffering become medicines. 3. Not all your sufferings-griefs should be asigned to almighty God. But if you think increase in weights -do exercise. I think YOGA is the best therapy for you. Purchase a good -authentic book on yoga. If possible read it and try out yourself. If troubles persist try yoga class. Yoga is not religion but the way of proper breathing which will help to overcome from day to day problems such as body gain, restlessness, help in sliping, pressure and so on. 4. Last but not the least always pray to the God before slip at night. thanks. Guest guest
" This course of fasting was the way King David of Jerusulem went after the loss of their 7 day old son of He and Bathsheba. David fasted for 7 days. Then he ate to celebrate his other children.- -- In , Muhammad Masry <massrii wrote: > > Salam, dearest lady > > From Egypt, the ancient land of wisdom and civilisation, I write to you, dear lady, to share tha little I know > Fasting is one way to purify your inner and outer self.
