Guest guest
Cool Mom, Why herbs? Enjoy a Mega Huge bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, you should get the same result in what you were looking for from a plastic container. Also, it doesn't hurt to follow up with an apple or fresh fruits to really clean out the system. If you are a die hard ... Mineral Oil! 100% to work and it's cheaper than buying those colon cleanses on the shelf at the vitamin stores! The best way in cleaning out the colon think fiber. Not recommended to individuals being away from home or rest rooms not made available during the moment of your Needs. : ) Take care, John Lopez , " cool_mom_only " <cool_mom_only wrote: > > What herbs are good for cleaning out the colon? >
Guest guest
-There are so many herbal remedies for colon cleansing some can be very harsh and dangerous if used incorrectly or if other ailments exist. I have been taking black walnut hulls two times daily, this combined with pepitas or pumkin seeds and of course the old stand by whole grains. I have found this combination to be effective but not in a stimulant gotta go now kind of way. The walnut hulls should not be used on going, I do a two weak on two week off regimen for a month than I will wait a few months again. I have also tried psyllium husk in the past but I found it to be painfully gassy and uncomfortable. I am a firm believer in the apple a day theory as well. Happy cleansing. Why mess with herbs? Kangen water will put the 'bam' in the processs! Ionized, purified and alkaline water (Kangen water) is a natural antioxident as well as doing the very thing you want. Water lubricates your body, moves the fluids through the body, moves along the waste in the colon, regulates the body temperature and forms the buffer fluids around the joints. Tap water is not very safe as only 90 chemicals, toxins and substances are tested for. There are 400 seperate herbicides and pesticide chemicals that could be in your water source! The outbreak of Cryptosporidium in Milwalkie in 1993 could happen again today. Over half a million people were affected with 100 deaths. The bottled water you buy is not any safer either. As much as 40% of bottled water is tap water! It is even more expensive than a gallon of gasoline! Even the bottles it is sold in are not safe as the triangle on the bottle usually has a 1 in it, meaning it is not a safe container. Yikes! See for yourself at www.kangenwaterreport.com Over at the www.youwantit.us there is a link to a homeopathic Dr. David Carpenter about the benefits of what this water can do, especially relating to the colon. Arthritis sufferers and cancer patients have been helped as well as people with high BP and diabetes too. Like many with marginal health or wanting to stay healthy, change your water and change your life! :-) Have a Great Day! Nancy
Guest guest
Dear Cool Mom, Many herbs and fibbers are good for cleaning the colon. I am sure other members will suggest their favourites. You need fibers to gently sweep the old junk out of the colon. A whole foods diet rich in legumes, whole grain and vegetables will do the job. An apple a day does indeed keep the doctor away! What is best for you depends on whether you are constipated and if so, how much. It is best to not overuse laxative herbs, because they may cause a lazy bowel if you use them too long. You may need some herbs to get things moving, or just to tone the muscles of the colon. Aloe Vera, Slippery Elm, and Una de Gato are all great bowel herbs, and many people are constipated because they are deficient in magnesium. For a good cheap bowelcleanse, try equal parts psyllium husks and Bentonite clay. Ideally get Pascalite Clay. It is a Bentonite with healing qualities. http://pascalite.com Amazing stuff with many uses that should be in every household. For a total overhaul with healing herbs and several different fibers, step into the Rainforest store and take a look at Fiberzon or Fiberzon Plus. http://wildhealing.net In friendship Ien in the Kootenays http://freegreenliving.com
Guest guest
I have found that a combination of fennel and wild yam tinctures taken 4 times a day will clean you out from top to bottom. It must be taken for a few weeks before you will notice the cleansing action though. It causes the gall bladder to release bile that then starts to push all the gunk out. Eat lots of raw celery also for a good scrubbing action. I had no adverse reactions and it was a gentle cleanse. My stomach and waist became flatter and smaller also as a result.
