Guest guest
Hi Nicole. Yes, it can act like a laxative, but it, in itself, is not a laxative. The experience of having soft stools or even diarrhea comes from the die-off of candida. If you are already having diarrhea then back off on the amount of ctt you use. Start with just one quarter teaspoon in water and work your way up to a teaspoon over a week or two. Take it easy on your body. Mostly, it's to kill off candida. If you have a bad case of candida it can take months to clear up, and you will know that it's clear when your stools go back to being normal again. So, it's best to start taking the ctt in water in the evening, so that you wind up going to the bathroom in the morning and are done with the diarrhea for the day. Eventually you can build up to taking ctt twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. But start slow-listen to your body. I have never heard of cream of tartar having MSG in it. Cream of tartar comes from making wine--it's the left over from the fermentation process. Samala Renee ---- I took my first dose of cream of tartar this evening....1 teaspoon in Water.I googled to try and find out more about it and all I got was Frustration. Is there anyone out there doing it? How do you know how Long to do it for? What is it beneficial for? I have given up smoking but am still in need of a detox and possibly Have candida so its worth a go. Apparently it is a laxative and has MSG in it.Some people say you should not take it internally???????? Are there any converts out there? Is it safe? Guest guest
Thanks again for your advice. I shall pass that on to my mother. We are on day 4 with the cream of tartar and have increased our amount to 2 tsp in the morn and 2 tsp at nite... Did some major detoxing today..sore tummy and so so thirsty...but with windows of clarity and I had so much energy. We are so excited. We can really feel it working. This morning my eyes felt like they were wide open and my vision was really great..until the detoxing started. But this evening..that has all settled and I feel great even though I know I have several weeks or months on this for it to be permanent. Thank you so much again..your message has truly been a gift. Guest guest
A Chiropractor told my husband to put a tsp of cream of tarter in a quart of water and drink it all in one day becuz he needed to cleanse his kidneys. She did not recommend it every day though. It did no harm to him. Another person that was on dialysis heard about and did it and wound up in kidney failure and was hospitalized. So I would assume it is not for people with kidney disease. Cream of tarter is used in meringue I believe and other recipes too.So I know it is not poisonous.( It is also a good cleaner for stainless steel pans.) If I had a serious problem with the kidneys or liver, I believe I would not do it though. Peace on Earth, Thyme
Guest guest
I have done abit of research on cream of tartar since starting to take it over a week ago. By the way..even though I had some detoxing effects...I am feeling full of energy and feeling great already..so I am really excited about continuing with this. Apparently from the little info I found is that is addresses the following: Great for giving up smoking (I have my brother and his wife trying it at the mo..will let you know how they get on!) Cleanses body of Candida including the brain. Can be used in conjunction with lemon juice and epsom salts over 3 days to cleanse the kidneys gallbladder and liver. It is fantastic for skin rashes, mix it with a bit of water. Detoxing affects can be diarrhea (normally the effects of the body ridding itself of candida and other toxic material) should only last a few days. Headache. A feeling of being drowsy and forgetful. Stomach ache that comes with the above , but soon goes away. The benefits I have found even after 1 week...your eyes feel more wide open...heaps of energy, blood feels clean, skin is more soft. I will keep you updated with results.
