Guest guest
Hi Nicole - Cream of Tartar (soda bic) is an old remedy, not often used nowadays - the parma cos moved in... It was first promulgated by a well known rheumy by the name of Dr Brown. Have tried to locate 'where' I put the old recipe, but there is a bit more to it than just soda bic. Memory says summat about lemon juice and apple cider vinegar. Have to alternate em, two days by two days. Upsets the ph factors of the body so it does not lay down whatever it is. Apologies, but years since I last looked at the notes - given to me by my father, a doctor of medecine. Should be perfectly safe, soda bic is used as a raising agent - used in many types of breads and cakes especially in those comercially produced. Soda bread, Irish soda bread is made with soda bic as also a pinch of soda bic is used in making scones. You'll be OK. Have not heard of soda bic causing diarrhoea but certainly epsom salts cause diarrhoea - epsom salts used a clear-out afore a colonoscopy... One more place to look - no, can't locate it. Darn. Molly (IF I ever do find that recipe then will post it, but don't hold your breath!!)
