Hi,

I'm new here.

I have everything with " itis " going on. I've been sick since Sat

Nt.

I'm told that I have mild asthma. (the inhalers aren't working)

as well as bronchitis, (the syp w/codeine isn't working) and I've

been

on Antibiotics, before this started up, do to my sinus. I also have

sinusitis, and rinusitis sp?, trachitis, fairengitis sp?

I think I have two types of coughs going, one the asthma, and second

the

post nasal drip. It hurts to cough-up the crap I can feel, and the

harder

I cough, then I get burning pain, down the mid breast bone.

I have mild about of aching ankles, wrist, and fingers, sneezing,

runny nose.

Is there anything I might have in the kitchen cabinet that I could

mix up.

Please email me when you replay, I'm on digest.

Thank you so much

hi vicky,

i know where you are. i also had post nasal drip before where i just

couldnt sleep due to pervasive coughing and phlegm dripping into my

lungs that wouldnt get out even if i took mucolytic from the doctor

and anti biotics. worst is that i have history of asthma and when

this type of hardness of breathing comes, im always afraid of

getting to the hospital.

luckily my friend introduced me to a chinese herb called cordymax or

in tibet they call this 'winter work summer grass' which is supposed

to work miraculously on the lungs. i took 2 capsules of it 3x /day

and that was the very first night i was able to sleep , the next

day, i was able to expectorate, felt my lungs expanding and

breathing more comfortably, and on 3rd day, i was back to work. none

of the antibiotics helped me the way this did.

i have since recommended this to other friends of mine who are

serioulsy asthmatic and on steroids, and all of us has been off

medication since maintaining cordymax. its really a gift from heaven

for us asthmatics. and we love the added energy!!

theres only one company that sells the standardised version of this

that really worked everytime,

go to www.synergy1.mypharmanex.com go to 'pharmanex solutions'

click 'energy/stamina' , then look for CORDYMAX.

and while youre at this, do gargle with lots of salt on water every

3 hours to fix the sore throat.and eat lots of fresh garlic as an

anti biotic.

let me know the good news. if you need assistance , email me at

busybuddy168 directly.

if u wanna try the product, email me so i can show you how to get it

at discounted price, but for now, since you need it quickly, get it

from the website link i showed you.

best regards,

Boil some ginger and cloves until you have a dark brown liquid. When

you take a tsp. you should feel a tingle in your mouth. This should

help your cough. For the nasal problem use CS in a nebulizer. Your

sinuses will soon clear. As for the other problems maybe another

poster can help.

Good Luck!

I've also taken Cordyceps sinensis which is what I assume is in the

Cordymax with excellent results. You can read about it in Cordyceps

China's Healing Mushroom. Sandy, you'll love that book for you

business! Cordyceps helps to get oxygen in the body and is also a

cancer cure in China. It is actually winter worm, summer grass what

they call it because it grows under the ground in the winter. Very

odd mushroom but excellent product if you get a good quality one.

Great too for liver, lungs, heart, kidneys, and an all-round good

tonic. Here in Canada you can also get a spray with it from the

health food store. I haven't tried it but one of my clients says

it's pretty amazing. I used to buy it from Tianshi at the time

before the government decided it was a drug, not a supplement a

couple years ago (Germany).

Black seed oil is also excellent for coughing and a lot cheaper, if

you can find it that is. One tsp three times a day for a few days.

It's antibacterial, antibiotic and has gotten rid of all our

bronchitis years ago before we got really healthy.

According to TCM treating the bowels will also help the

bronchial/lung system.

What is CS- how do you use that in a nebulizer and what can be substituted if

you do not have a nebulizer?

Thanks!

Ginger Tea we found to be one of the best things to

knock this type of infection. 1 tsp of ground ginger

in a cup of hot water. You may add a natural sweetner

like honey or stevia if you desire. Oil of Oregano is

also good. Tinctures are great too, we use Echinacea

or golden seal...but don't mix the two as they counter

act each other. Lobelia tincture is good for the cough

and mucous. You will also find it's calming too.

So is Slippery Elm, Burdock, Turkey Rubarb, Sorrel,

Holy Thistle and Cress. These will all work to cleanse

the blood and help with the asthma. White elm bark for

pain.

I had lots of coughing with asthma for four years. I

discovered that when I changed to a new pillow the coughing

decreased significantly, especially at night. I began to

suspect dust mites as being at least a contributor to the

coughing. So, I began washing my bed linens more often and

vacuuming my mattress weekly (HEPA filter on my vacuum). The

results were amazing. Didn't get rid of the asthma, but the

coughing stopped. What a relief!

Re: coughing--- I can't take it

Hi Vickie,

You need to clean yourself out. Try cayenne tincture drops.

See: Book or Video for

Curing with Cayenne and its Herbal Partners, Sam Biser

on e-bay.

while ginger tea is good, i find a little oil, perhaps a capsule,

helps with my coughing; it tends to soothe my throat if it is

scratchy

You might want to try the group 'microelectricitygermkiller'

where I have seen numerous people with similar problems find some

relief.

If you are suffering from phlem in your throat, try boiling a nice

piece of ginger root and whole cloves in distilled water until the

water turns tannish-brown. It should be boiled at least 20 minutes.

You take a teaspoon as needed and it will help clear your throat.

Good Luck!

  • 2 weeks later...

Hi there,

Hope you don't mind me asking?? I suffer from chronic sinusitis and

allergies, would this herb benefit me with my post nasal drip and

ease my daytime and night time breathing? I am having a really bad

sinus infection now with a low grade fever, my nose is clear because

the mucus drains down my throat, hence a sore throat. I have a doc's

appt tomorrow afternoon and I would rather not take antibiotics again

because I have been on and off them for years now....By the way I am

44. I have been checked for asthma and I don't have that also.

Anyhow anyone???? Help!!!

lynn - the pollen and crazy weather we have in s.e. texas can be really hard on

sinuses, allergies and breathing. the only thing i have found that works is a

himalyan sole. get himalayan salt crystals (the oldest crystaline salt

formation in the world) and put some of the crystals in a jar and add bottled

water (fiji water is best as it comes from the same source). it will disolve

until the water is fully saturated. this is called sole.

i do two things with it : 1. take a teaspoon of the water first thing in the

morning and then drink 8 ounces of water. wait at least ten minutes before you

eat or drink anything else. do it again at night before bed. 2. when it is

really bad, take a netti pot or a bulb syringe (like for babies) and irrigate

your nasal passages with the sole (i promise you will not drown).

the sole will help align your crystaline formation in your body for the entire

day and also reduces mucus. i discovered this last year when i had bronchitis

that was borderline pneumonia. kept me out of the hospital and i have been

doing great ever since. if you get a coughing spell take an extra teaspoon and

a glass of water. crazy, but it works every time!

have a wonderful day! happy thoughts of love, peace and light

Another way to go with this would be to grab a bowl, a towel, steaming

hot water and a few drops of lavendar AND eucalyptus essential oils.

Place steaming hot water into bowl (preferably thick glass or

ceramic--they tend to hold heat better) and add approximately five

drops of eucalyptus oil and another fifteen to twenty of the lavendar.

Yes, this is going to be a strong concoction...it's meant to be. You

could even add a drop or two of tea tree oil if you wanted to be

really aggressive with this.

Place the towel over your head, and lower your face towards the bowl.

Enough so you form a sort of tent with the towel, but far enough away

that you don't burn yourself with the water or bowl.

Inhale the steam deeply for about 15 minutes or so.

The steaming water vapors will allow the entire sinus cavity to open

up and begin freeing up what mucus might be stuck.

The eucalyptus and tea tree oils are well known treatments for any

kind of respiratory ailment. So is the lavendar, as it is gentle and

effective...but it also is great for reducing ANY kind of

inflammation, be it from a bee sting to sinuses or a stuffy chest...

Hope this helps some...it's a little old fashioned, but oh so effective.

Many blessings.
