Green Tea Protection against Diabetes

Diabetes is one of the very common illnesses associated with people

nowadays. Previously when I was distributing an aromatherapy air

purifier in Philippines and China, we have been using the scent Green

Tea for people with Diabetes and it has been quite effective in helping

some of them to control their diabetic conditions. Found this article

which I would like to share with you all. Once again, a word of caution,

anything overdose might have detrimental effect and check with your

physician.

In recent years, we've seen lots of attention focused on the health

benefits of drinking green tea. Much of the research has centered on

green tea's ability to prevent, and possibly even treat, cancer. But,

there are other serious health concerns that may be positively affected

by adding green tea to your diet. One of the most important is Type II

diabetes.

Over 20 million people in the US have Type II diabetes, and nearly one

third of them don't even know it. And, another 54 million are

pre-diabetic, meaning their blood glucose levels are higher than normal,

but not high enough to be classified as diabetic. This means that Type

II diabetes is one of the most common health concerns in the US today.

Our climbing rate of obesity has significantly contributed to the

soaring diabetes rate.

Diabetes results when the body either does not produce enough insulin,

or does not use it properly. Insulin is the hormone that converts sugar

and other food into energy. When insulin is not used properly, as is the

case with Type II diabetes, an over abundance of glucose is left in the

body.

hi boonkiat,

i agree, there is now alot of research on diabetes and green tea. i

have been researching this for a while now, and the action lies in

the ability of greentea to be able to increase insulin sensitivity.

however all the research has been done on ORALLY ingested greentea.

because the one that does this is the polyphenols, however, there is

no connection between the effects research on taking green tea

orally, and aromatherapy greentea. i think the aromatherapy using

greentea studies is just a baseless gimick intended to make money,

but its deceiving.

for those interested to know more about how to improve diabetes

condition, email me busybuddy168 i have great articles

about this topic since my grandma and mom has it. but the file is

too big

good health to all! watch out for snakeoils :)
