Guest guest
Hello, I personally know about this, as it was told to me a long time ago. I was seventeen and about to go crazy, so I asked my grandma. She told me to get non flavored, live cultured yogurt. Then, you mix this with water (we use distilled or RO) just enough to make it go through a douche nozzle. Hold it as long as you can and then lay down for a while. I was told to do this at night before bed, but sometimes I do it in the morning also. You might want to wear a panty liner during the day as you don't want to wash this out. I think that the live cultures gang up on the nasty ones and they die. Honestly don't know HOW it works, but it does. And, I usually do this for three or four days. And, of coarse, this is a bandaid...but, when I got on this list and quit eating so much junk (sodas, meat from the grocery store, sugar, etc.) I quit having them. That's only been several months, but before I'd have them every other month. And, you might want to try organic live cultured yogurt. I used to think that I got them so frequently because of my husbands fingernails (he's a mechanic), but since that one got cut off behind the fingernail, that may have helped also. Don't laugh and don't make fun, I was really convinced of this. Angel All incoming and outgoing scanned with NAV for both our protection. Guest guest
The garlic clove will work as will plain unflavored natural Live Cultured Acidophilous yogurt. Just insert the yogurt into the vagina and around the vaginal orifice. When I am pregnant seems to be the only time I get them. My Dr. told me to go with an over-the-counter medication but I thought I would check with you all and see if anyone can suggest a more natural alternative. Can anyone help? Guest guest
Do you have any recommendations on how to treat a vaginal yeast infection? Please and thank you Jennifer
Guest guest
When there is a shortage of acidophilus in you body you will develop a yeast infection because acidophilus balances the yeast and keeps it from overgrowing. You need both, but in the right amounts for each. Yeast infections are very common when taking antibotics. The acidophilus bacteria is killed by the antibiotics but the yeast is not, so an imbalence is created allowing the yeast to grow out of control. Menstration can also cause this to happen because the vagina is normally pretty acidic, when PH levels drop it can allow the yeast to grow out of control. To keep this from happening start taking acidophilus (pills, get them at Walmart or health food store). Eating yogurt also helps to replace some of the lost acidophilus. It is advisable to also follow this at any time you get a yeast infection for any other reason. It works better than the creams you buy at the drug store. Start taking it at the very first sign of trouble. If you are prone to get yeast infections you probably need to take it all along. You can also buy milk what has acidophilus in it. In case you do not know the symtoms of a yeast infection: The signs and symptons of a yeast infection include itching and redness around the outer vagina , soreness, rash, and/or burning especially while urinating. Also, a cottage-cheese like discharge may be present. You can also get the same thing in your mouth, it is called thrush. A man can get it on the penis as well. , " Jennifer " <jenniferharthoop2002 wrote: > > Do you have any recommendations on how to treat a vaginal yeast > infection? > > Please and thank you > > Jennifer >
Guest guest
Hi Jennifer, You can try(drink) this herbal antibiotic. Ginger & Garlic combination is an age old antibiotic. Easy way is to get equal amounts by volume crush them and add eight volumes of water. Boil until the liquid reduces to one volume. Drink one table spoons three times a day atleast half hour before meals. Remember yeast is a fungus which can be killed with antibiotics. There is a better way to make Ginger Garlic Tincture which is more potent. If you are interested please tell me.
