Guest guest
Hello there ! I am new to the site. I was just wondering if anyone knows about getting a christmas cactus to bloom again. I've managed to save it from last christmas, but it needs help in the flowering dept. Someone said I could feed it coffee grinds as fertilizer. Is there any merit to this ? Also I'm looking for a good meditation site. any suggestions ? i am a beginner. Thanks ! Rose.
Guest guest
I have done nothing to mine all year but keep it in the same place (indirect sunlight room) on a window sill and it is going bonkers. Ive heard coffee grinds is a good fertilizer (my sis owned a slower shop) she always dumped her grinds on her plants so yes, its worth a try! Good Luck Donna mamie2i <mamie2i wrote: Hello there ! Guest guest
Bud formation on Christmas Cacti is controlled by daylight length and temperature. To encourage your plant to start buds, you should grow it in a cool room with little additional artificial light after sunset. Keep it cool and give it those long nights until the buds are nearly ready to open. Then you can move it to wherever in the house you want to display it. If you move it too soon, the still immature buds may fall off. Make sure your container has good drainage, and do not over-water it. - mamie2i Wednesday, December 06, 2006 1:14 PM coffee grinds Hello there ! I am new to the site.
