Guest guest
Hi My name is Flavia and im a new member. I joined that Forum because i wanted to share my miracle experience with Ayurveda. Well, at age 14 i got hepatites that turned into chronic acute hypothyroidism.Although my father was a doctor he didnt diagnose my hypothyroidism. My parents thought that my tiredness and laziness and poor grades at scholl were symptoms of adolescence, not of a serious disease. Well, when i was 16 they finally found out that my thyroid worked only 40%.The doctor prescribed me high doses of thyroid hormone and i started to take those high doses almost immediately without dose graduation. The 2 years without treatment plus the high dose of hormone without graduation caused an acute lower limbs mixedema that made my legs swell and hurt. I started to accumulate fat on my ankles and thighs.Soon i looked almost like i had replaced my slim legs with elephant legs! I lived for 30 years with that problem! 2 liposuctions reduced the amount of accumulated fat but not the pain and the swelling. But the fat came back very soon because of the water retention.I went to dozens of doctors world over and all of them said that there is no cure for lower limbs mixedema. I had to live with ugly and swollen limbs for the rest of my life!Besides my legs problem my feet were always swollen too and i had difficulties to find shoes that fit them! 2 years ago i was posted to India, New Delhi, where for the first time i heard about Ayurveda. I didnt pay any attention because i thought it was another " spiritual cure " that never works. But six months ago i went to the local drugstore in order to find a safe medicine to give to my overweight 13 years old daughter.Thee Indian pharmacist gave me an Ayurveda product called " Ayurslim (Himalaya) " .Before giving her the tablets i tried one only to be sure it was really safe, without side effects.Almost immediately i noticed the effect ...on my legs! To make a long story short, Ayurveda cured my mixedema! My legs dont swell anymore, i lost more than 10 inches of fat that was deposited on my hips and i never felt better! 30 years later i have the body of my dreams and im spending all my salary in clothes!lol! Ayurslim has anti-inflammatory properties that cured my mixedema. I dont know whether this cure is permanent. Probably not. Probably ill have to take Ayurslim for the rest of my life but i dont mind.People do not stop on the streets to look with disgust to my HUGE legs anymore because my legs look normal now!Even beautiful!lol!I am buying mini skirts and lots of tight jeans because my hips are slim now! I became a member of this Forum because i wanted everydody that has mixedema to know that this condition can be cured! Sorry for my English mistakes but English is not my mother tongue! I will be looking into this Ayurveda...I'll see if the library has any info on it so I can read up:O) Melody Schafer melored - tsbk1968 Tuesday, December 05, 2006 6:29 AM Re: What I want to suggest is Ayurveda , " Rosi " <dancing_rose_in wrote: > > Hello everybody, > I am happy to join the group, first, I want to say sorry for my bad > English, hope it's not gonna be a problem. > I like alternative medicine too, because it has less side effects > than the western one. Guest guest
Thank you for the post. Ayurveda is the medicine of Aryas. A very old branch of medicine. Ayurveda is practised through out India. You can see a large number of practitioners in Kerala State(southern India) where I live. I think Ayurveda is most developed here. Just like Ayurveda, there is another branch of medicine in India called Agasthia veda which is the Dravidian Medicine developed in South India. Both are equally good. You know, Aryans and Dravidians are two races. Today I met a friend who came to see me after getting a body massage. The doctor who massaged him says most of the problems like arthritis cause because of lack of blood circulation. He says you have to massage the joints with some oil (coconut oil if your body system is hot i.e if you cannot withstand normally cold climate or gingley oil if you cannot withstand normally hot climate) at least once a week. Together with this walking and deep breathing will increase blood circulation. Guest guest
Great! Although Im Brazilian , Im living in New Delhi!!So are you a Christian Indian?I ve never been to Kerala but i know its BEAUTIFUL! I didnt know anything about Ayurveda until i arrived here.I really think Western countries must be informed about Ayurvedic medicine. Its amazing how it works well! I dont like body massages, i dont feel confortable with the idea but i think Ayurveda ( Himalaya brand) is GREAT! My husband has gout. Do you have any idea whether this can be cured with Ayurveda because i dont think he likes body massages too. Flavia " P.J.Joseph " <pjjoseph55 escreveu: Thank you for the post.
