Hi all!

Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone! I was so excited to

find this group on the web today. This group is right down my alley!

My mom was a midwife when I was growing up (retired now - says she

is too old to be getting up at 2 in the morning all the time :). We

always were treated with herbs and natural remedies growing up and

rarely went to the doc unless it was something serious that she

couldn't take care of naturally.

I had my now 16 month old daughter at home last august and it was

amazing. Really, really hard labor (mom said it was - I didn't know

the difference) and looooooong pushing, but it was totally worth it

and, God willing, I will do it again with all the children we have

in the future. She is also still a happily breastfed baby.

I know very little about natural remedies, but am excited to learn

from this group as the situations arise in our lives.

Great to meet everyone!!! I look forward to learning a lot here!!!

Hi Emma!

How nice to meet second-generation

health nuts.

I breast-fed both my children till they

weaned themselves around age 3,

(they ate other food too, but still enjoyed

nursing) and am happy to say they both

seem to have iron immune systems.

They are 32 and 27 now.

You go girl!

And good luck with the home business.

Let me guess, Melaleucca?

It's the way to go when you want to be

home with the kids, and we'd see fewer

problem kids if more people used toxin-

free cleaners.
