Hello everyone... I have a question... I have a little 20 month old

boy and when I was pregnant with him I had post tramatic stress

disorder that suddenly occured almost immediately when I discovered

that I was pregnant...(I had suppressed a traumatic situation that

had happened 3 years earlier.) I had EMDR (a technique for PTSD)

which was very effective and seemed to help the problem of

nightmares etc. I had a very difficult pregnancy (preclampsia) and

then had to have an emergency C-section which was very scary and

then they discovered that I had an ovarian cyst the size of a

grapefruit which they removed. I thought that maybe that had

something to do with my PTSD suddenly appearing during pregnacy

because of the extra hormones. Anyway... I just recently discoverd

that I am pregnant again (yeah!) but now I am having simular

thoughts although they seem to have mutated into a paranoid feeling

where my freinds are no longer my friends (not true) and I feel like

I have to have constant re-assurance from them that they still care

about me, and that I have not done anything to upset them... they

are worried about me becuase I have become so paranoid.. I AM

having cabin fever right now being snowed in for several days... and

I don't know if that is what is making me crazy or if it is because

I am pregnant but this is not like me at all! I have to keep

reminding myself that I have great friends. I just don't know why I

keep having these thoughts and I am a natural kind of girl and

really don't want to take drugs. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Tressa

Hi Tressa, I don't have any specific answers for you since I am so new to all

of this but I bet its your hormones. As my father used to say... " and this too

shall pass " but if you ever need to talk you can e-mail me anytime and I'm

finding this group is ABSOLUTELY wonderful and full of very interesting answers.

I'm so excited to have found it myself.

Dear Teresa,

Please learn Emotional Freedom Technique!

It is free, it is harmless, and it is so totally

empowering.

http://emofree.com

I have a powerpoint presentation that

is easier to learn from than the e-book.

Ask me for it off list. ienvan

-Camomile, as tea, does wonders for all kinds of anxieties,

try to get it at a health food store, as that in the grocery store is

too small a dose,

but check with a natural health practicioner to be safe on dose while

pregnant
