Guest guest Posted November 30, 2006 Report Share Posted November 30, 2006 I wud like to seek the help and assistance of the Group, as my mother (now 82 yrs old) got ANEMIA due to her spleen enlargement. She is under the Blood transfusion treatment every fortnight. Each time she go for treatment, hospital will take her blood to cross match for the blood to be transfused (Blood Group B+) but now the HSA (health Science Authorities) checked her blood and said that her has an anti body called anti-mia . Pls advise any alternative treatment to improve her red blood cell and what is anti-mia. pls HELP and ASSIST on the case as I am very hurt abt her case and sad to know abt it . ( She has been on treatment for almost 3 months and my pocket is running dry - just to say this, none of my sibling is helping me) My sincere thank you and hope to receive a reply and help me.
