Guest guest
Have you tried the OTC ovulation kits? If you look, you can find one that's not too expensive, though they can run up to $10 or more per kit, depending on the brand. When we were trying for our second child, I got so fixated on trying to conceive and stressed out about it that I basically worked against my body...so we took a break and when we decided to try again, I picked up the ovulation kit. It explains when to start testing yourself for ovulation (based on your normal menses) and when you get the second line to show up, you make like bunnies for a couple of days...DH and I caught the first month we used one. It might help you make sure you're actually trying at the prime time for your body to conceive, and it's really easy and non-invasive to test yourself.... Good luck!!! Guest guest
Why don't you try relaxing with a nice hot bath. The two of you together and just take it from there. A romantic meal, candlelight, soft music. I think that you'll be surprised just how well it will work. Wolf sailakshmi2k2000 <sailakshmi2k2000 wrote: Hi I am new member for this group. Guest guest
There is an old method that is still very valid, it can be used to identify times for fertility, to either fertilize, or avoid the same. Get an ovulation thermometer, it is graduated in tenths and only goes from maybe slightly below normal to slightly above. You can get one in a drug store. Take your temperature orally every single day at the same time, before you get out of bed, smoke, or drink anything. Put it on a graph. The day before ovulation, it will dip, and then rise over the next few days. It should be approximately 14 days after the first day of your last period. About 10 days after your last period, refrain from sex. When you see the dip, have sex every 2 days. This allows for a good storehouse of mature sperm. You may also check your cervical mucous. Don't be shy, or your partner can do it. Just obtain a sample on your finger and between your thumb and finger pull them apart. You will see how it changes throughout the month. When it strings across like an eggwhite, you are fertile. That's 3 methods in one, only the cost of a thermometer and graph paper, based on nature's way. It used to be called the rhythm method to avoid pregnancy for those opposed to birth control. But I had success after much difficulty and have 2 beautiful kids now. Unless you present with terminal scurvy or so they are not likely to notice something is missing. Where do you live? If you are in the Americas, get some MACA. It works great for the fertility of animals and is an excellent overall gland food. Maca is a member of the turnip family and quite literally as safe as cabbage. Rich in B vits, all minerals and trace minerals, amino acids and plant sterols. If you buy it in bulk instead of in capsules it is very affordable. It has a mild sweetish flavor, you can mix it with cereal or in a smoothie or put it into caps yourself or whatever. http://naturalzing.com has it for $20 per lb or $36 per kilo. Guest guest
Get on a grain free diet. Molds & fungus in grains can cause infertility in farm animals. Most farmers are aware of this problem since it cost them money. We are animals, too....just a higher form. Anything in our diet that will cause an animal to not conceive will do the same to us. Fungus & molds don't have a cell wall like other life forms, so to protect themselves, they give off a toxin (poison) that will kill anything that threatens them. Penicillin is a toxin from the mold on a melon & it works because it kills bacteria. Most all antibiotics are the same, just from different fungi. Toxins in grains (from mold) can cause numerous health problems, including inability to conceive. Stay away from corn & peanuts especially. These two foods are commonly contaminated with mold. That means peanut butter, too. When local farmers in my area recently had a lot of mold in their peanut crops, they could only sell it for use in making peanut butter. Other grains can be contaminated...depending on how they are stored or whether the mold/fungus is in the crops in the field. So a grain free diet should help. Grains are flour, corn barley rice, oats & to a lesser extent), etc. Jean , " sailakshmi2k2000 " <sailakshmi2k2000 wrote: > > Hi > > I am new member for this group. Guest guest
My sister and I both went through this. I had fertility treatment done and I have a 5 year old princess and 2 1/2 year old triplets My sister's case was much more severe than mine. She had PCO and endometriosis. Have you seen a doctor? My sis was doing treatment for 6 years until she changed her doctor and found out that she had problems that needed treatment. After a year of treatment she got pregnant naturally and then had another son naturally after 4 years. Guest guest
Your diet, and your husband's, will have an effect on fertility. My husband and I are thinking about having another baby next year and he has become completely vegetarian like me, and will do that for at least three months before conception. Lots of whole foods, raw or lightly cooked, as the base of the diet. Whole grains, lots of water, and as little processed food as you can manage.
