Guest guest
I'm new here and I had been searching for alternative pain relief. Let me try to make this short. I am 36 years old was in a car accident back in September. I recently went back to work. When I did my pain got worse. Since the accident I have been seeing a chiropractor, because the insurance is covering his visits. I am having severe pain from my right shoulder, down my arm and into my hand. My fingertips are numb and my hand is cold. Nothing helps! My mom treated me to a massgae-nothing! The chiropractor has worked on me, just makes it worse. I've tried almost every OTC pain reliever. That's why I am here. I don't know if it's a pinched nerve or carpal tunnel or what! I really don't have tons of money, since I was out of work, to spend so if anyone has been through this or knows of something that may help me it would be GREATLY appreciated. I have young children and this pain is not helping matters any! Much appreciated thanks! Marianne
Guest guest
It may not be the same thing at all, but this sounds like my shoulder. It would hurt so badly that I just couldn't use that arm at all, and the three outside fingers would go numb if I did anything like sewing or painting. Don't exactly remember how it went, but some combination of chiropractor saying " pinched nerve " and the M.D. saying the shoulder joint was " within normal limits " and seeing something about an inversion table -- if I bend over and let my head hang loosely, it keeps the shoulder from hurting and the fingers from going numb. Makes sense; gravity squooshes the spine together, so letting gravity open it up the other way seems to relieve the pressure on the nerve. good luck Joy , " strutter905 " <mommymare wrote: > > I'm new here and I had been searching for alternative pain relief. > Let me try to make this short.
