Guest guest
My now 17 yr old son had this back when he was in 6th grade; so around 12 yrs old. OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) had begun that year, pretty bad. He was seeing an occupational therapist for some motor skill help and she was also trained in the craniosacral and recommended it. Well, it was very interesting and my son did fine the two times she did it, I mean was fine when we left. But each time she had used it that afternoon, his OCD was way, way worse that evening, like it just came... " rushing " back 20x worse suddenly (he had compulsions/rituals). So after that 2nd time, I had her stop it. My sister had a relationship with a man who, from her description, was " emotional " , I don't know if he was bipolar, just high anxiety, or what. But he had the cranio done too and was much more " jittery " , sort of " shook up " afterwards she said. It didn't help with him. Others I know that have tried it just LOVE it, works wonders. But I'm wondering if there is something about it that worsens those with anxiety or something similar??? Any comments from knowledgeable people, I'm just a " mom " !
