Honey and diabetic ulcers - manuka honey vs regular honey

A friend with diabetic ulcers on the feet is going to try putting honey on the

wound to help with the healing.

 

I have a question - what is the difference between manuka honey and regular

honey that can be purchased in a Health Food store? Any

recommendations/testimonies of success with this treatment?
