Guest guest
Hi, I'm new here, and I'm finding everyone's post very informative and helpful, but a little overwhelming. It's hard to keep up with so many posts! LOL! I'm not very knowledgeable about many health related things, but I'd like to help with what I do know and learn more from everyone here too. Perhaps I'll post a proper introduction about myself later but I just wanted to add my 2 cents for now. For constipation, stay away from 'white' food; white flour, white sugar, white rice...etc. Eat wholemeal bread instead, or brown rice, brown sugar... They are rich in fiber and I find that it helps a lot with constipation. Also, find some high fiber supplements, you need to clear your bowels everyday. In fact, according to my father(who's a natural medicine specialist), anyone who doesn't go at least once everyday, has constipation. The food that you ate is only supposed to stay inside you for 12-18 hours(?), any more than that and your body will start absorbing the toxins from the waste that you didn't clear from your body. That's why you feel sick when you don't go for a few days. I hope this helps you a little. I'm still learning. I'm here because my family has poor constitution and is prone to sickness. My father learnt natural medicine because he was always sick when he was younger. I've been brought up following his instructions everytime I got sick, but I followed without asking the whys and hows. I've decided that I should start learning now too. -=Betty=- , " jmr1290 " <jomarex wrote: > > I would also be interested in hearing more about this.
