Guest guest
Have you been to a good chiropractor? If that vertebra is where it shouldn't be, the chiropractor ought to be able to set it right. My upper spine used to be straight from the mid-back up, after a neck injury, so it would slip " out " just below the neck. If I worked it around, it would slip back in. One time I wanted to see what would happen if I left it the way it was. Oh! Excruciating pain! I couldn't get up out of the chair, felt like my neck was breaking off. I went to the emergency room, had an x-ray, and could easily see that that vertebra was twisted pretty far out of place, sideways. The MD ignored that and told me to take anti-inflammatory drugs. Be careful with the chiropractors, though. They might not tell you things you can do for yourself instead of going to them every week. It *finally* occurred to me that I ought to try to get normal curves in my spine, so I started forcing a curve into it. The pain was so bad that I couldn't sleep for a night or two, but as long as I occasionally work on those curves, I don't have a problem with it going out. Definitely worth it. Guest guest
Biofeedback is another form to use for pain management and with the programs available to me, I also work with spinal issues. I have used that along with Chiropractic care for the past 5 months since I was rear ended and chipped the C-3 vertebra in my neck. I also use it for pain management with my partners arthritis and my mothers back and neck pain from a terrible wreak she was in in July. I work with Chiropractors and there are many of them that use this process with their clients too. JennyK
