I am a 27 year old male from Calgary Alberta in the third year of my Doctorate in Traditional and Acupuncture. I am also a practicing massage therapist and Reiki Master. I've done other courses in and am currently working with remedial Massage, Reflexology, Traditional Remedial and Shiatsu. I've done reiki level one and i love it. what form of reiki do you practice? Guest guest Posted November 23, 2006 Report Share Posted November 23, 2006 I'm certainly NOT diagnosing, but I missed my period for a few months before I started college. I had absolutely no appetite and wasn't eating enough- causing me to stop menstruating. Maybe she's really stressed and isn't eating well... If this is not the case, she should probably see a doctor to make sure everything is OK. Increase her levels of Folic Acid immediatley by increasing her intake of Green Leafy Vegetables;Citurs frutis;Beans. Or buy a Folic- Acid Supplement; also called Folican or Folate. Increase calories. Reduce meat. Drink Milk. This is my opinion. Is she underweight? Did she have regular monthly periods before now? Is she under any form of stress? There're so many reasons why she hasn't seen her period and I would suggest that she visits a qualified gynaecologist (preferably in a teaching hospital). Good luck! Guest guest Posted November 24, 2006 Report Share Posted November 24, 2006 Hi, i must agree seeing a regular doctor may be helpful in this case, she may have thyroid problems, that causes iregular periods and a host of other things, i have hypothyroidism so i know from experience, it is only a blood test so she can find out for sure, loree...
