Guest guest
Howdy folks. I just joined the group. Have a friend who has a recurring fungal or bacterial infection in her big toe/s. The doctor supposedly did some tests, but she can't read the handwritten stuff very well. It says " pseudomonas b... " -something. She's tried some natural remedies, but it keeps coming back, and when she tries to cut out all sugar, and follow a really healthy diet, maybe there's a healing crisis going on...? The toes get a lot worse, and itchy rashes come out on her hands and arms. One time it got almost to the point of gangrene in the toe. Anybody have any experience or knowledge of this kind of thing? thanks so much Joy

Guest guest
I have something like this that I have been assuming is athelete's foot on one foot. I have had it for 14 months now and it drives me crazy. Athlete's foot remedies controlled the itch for a while then stopped working altogether. I sometimes put apple cider vinegar on it and that seems to help, but I never remember to stay with it. The skin around it gets very dry so I moisturize it but I can't decide if that is a good thing or a bad thing, but it does help with the itchiness. It is better some times and worse other times. What is odd is that no one else in my family has gotten it and it has not even spread to my other foot though occasionally I do get tiny itchy bumps on the palms of my hands or on my fingers.
