Guest guest
Dear Tammy, Your son may have an iron over load that could be poisioning his system which mimics ADHD. His body cannot get rid of the excessive iron. So it is affecting him like it is.Take him in to the doctors and have him get a blood panel test to check his iron level. If it is high or above normal, he may need chelation therapy to get rid of the iron that is more than likely the problem. I have hemochromatosis which is iron poisoning. I have some of the effect of ADHD but do not have ADHD. In me, it is caused from iron overload poisioning. Good luck, Please have your sons iron level checked imediately .. It is very important. If his iron level is high it is very dangerous. Too much iron can cause liver failure and heart problems, and can result in a slow death if not treated. rainbowbutterfly12004 Tammy <mystargoddess wrote: Good afternoon, Can anyone advsie and natural remedies for child believed to have ADHD. Guest guest
Hello! I am also interested in learning more about natural remedies for ADHD - my daughter has recently been disagnosed and I really want to avoid putting her on medications. I have heard that relaxation and meditation are beneficial...does anyone has any suggestions for that?
Guest guest
I have 3 children who are ADHD/ADD/ID and I use the Biofeedback to help balance the neurotransmitter imbalance etc. We are completely drug free at this point. It takes a minimum of 6 one-hour sessions to make a permanent brain imprint and correction. This has been wonderful also in working with my Autistic son. Also diet has a lot to do with ADHD. Dr. Fiengold wrote a book over 30 years ago about diet for ADHD and it definitely works. You cut out additives, preservatives, colors/dyes, refined flours and starches and processed sugars. Growing up ADD and being placed on this diet at 17 years old I can attest that it works. When I follow it with my children, they are calmer, more responsible, less agitated and do much better in school and stressful situations.
