Guest guest
I am having pain in right calf muscle and thigh. I tried homeopathy but with very minimal benefit . Though Allopathy gives some better result but personally I would go for home remedies. The pain increases with walking and subsides after rest. Pl. help
Guest guest
Bump up your calcium intake to 500mg per day. It would be best if you could find a calcium/magnesium combination. , " krkum1 " <krkum2 wrote: > > I am having pain in right calf muscle and thigh. Guest guest
Also you might want to get a potassium level run. You may be low on Potassium. Guest guest
Marvin_43512: Medically I would be of the opinion that your pain is being caused by the sciatic nerve. Sciatica pain can result when the nerve roots in the lower spine are irritated or compressed. When this happens pain radiates into the rear and back of the thigh and calf, and occasionally may extend down to the foot. The sciatic nerve is the largest and longest single NERVE in the body - ouch!! I would recommend you see a chiropractioner or massage therapist to help you with this. They can make all the difference in the world! Helen , " Kris " <marvin_43512 wrote: > > Bump up your calcium intake to 500mg per day. Guest guest
As a massage practitioner I would like to say that true sciatic problems are pretty rare...it's always a good idea to get them checked out by a chiropractor that you trust since many professionals are quick to call most lower back, thigh and leg pain sciatica when it really is not. I'm not sure if your pain is shooting or cramping...if it is the cramping type try upping your potassium intake (like bananas). A little fruit never hurt anyone It's also quite possible your hips are rotated and causing nerve irritation, or even that your walk is a little off throwing off your whole body. Good luck...hope you feel better soon! , " helen_1947_slaughter " <helen_1947_slaughter wrote: > > Marvin_43512: Medically I would be of the opinion that your pain is > being caused by the sciatic nerve. Guest guest
Spiritually_Speaking make sure you are getting enough magnesium (relaxes muscles) http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=nutrient & dbid=75 and not too much calcium (which makes muscles tense and seize). I used to suffer from really bad charlie horses during sleep and it was not enough magnesium. take care Lisa --- avast! Antivirus: Outbound message clean.
