Guest guest
I would also like to hear about high blood pressure. I have had an artificial heart valve (aorta valve) for 15 years now and lately my blood pressure has been a little too high. I find that for me it helps to drink a glass of sweetened ginger tea or sweetened ice lemon balm tea regualrly. If any others have other ideas, please post them here. Thanks, Chuck Jose <hlnhnz wrote: Any suggestions for lowering and controlling blood pressure would be real welcome. Sponsored Link Degrees for working adults in as fast as 1 year. Guest guest
Hello, the best natural way to control or lower blood pressure is to learn how to breath properly. Proper breathing can help you to achieve all around good health. because we live in such a fast paced society we often forget to breath correctly. There are products that are made to help you get in the habit of breathing correctly. One such thing is called resperate. resperate has been recommended by Dr. Weil for controlling blood pressure. you can find more info regarding the resperate at :http://www.high-blood-pressure-help.com/ hope it helps, best of luck. Guest guest
This mostly depends on what's causing it to begin with, i.e., emotional, mental, physical, or spiritual imbalance. Each area can adversely effect blood pressure levels. Something you can try that is not invasive or expensive is oil pulling. Here is a link to an article describing it: http://www.oilpulling.com/. Just make sure you get the oil at a health food store or whole foods market. You want high-quality oils. If you don't already, make sure you take a very good multi-vitamin supplement. And I don't mean a one-a-day or centrum. It's got to be the good stuff. Nature's Sunshine has a very good product called Super Supplemental. There are also others on the market. I was able to lower my father's blood pressure and cholesterol simply by putting him on a vitamin regimen. Sounds too good to be true, but it worked for him. If all else fails, please seek the services of a naturopath. They will be able to help you get to the root of your imbalance and suggest a proper blend of supplements geared especially towards you. , " Jose " <hlnhnz wrote: > > Any suggestions for lowering and controlling blood pressure would be > real welcome. >

Guest guest
Charles: With an artificial valve it is of the utmost importance that your blood pressure is under control. There are numerous reasons for an increase in blood pressure - among them water retention, salt, stress, weight, poor circulation. Your blood pressure is directly related to your circulation. The bottom line is that your blood needs to be thin so that it flows easily throughout your body and ultimately thru that Valve. Do you know what you PT and INR levels are? If you have no idea what PT and INR are - you need to get yourself into a doctor immediately and ask that they run that blood test. From there you have a number of options. What they most likely will want to use if your blood is too thick is some type of anti- coagulant. There are herbal and nutritional steps you can take rather than pharmaceutical medications. Spinach, cabbage, brussel sprouts and other green vegetables in that family will thin your blood and lower your blood pressure. EFT,Zen,meditation will cut into the stress factor that raisies your blood pressure. Herbs such as Ginsing and GinkoBilobo will also thin your blood. I am sure there will be other recommendations from this Board along that line. You MUST continue to have your PT and INR checked by means of a blood test - probably every week or so. That artificial valve will outlast you if you take care of it! Do some " googling " into Integrated Medicine. Blessings. I have not tried that product but rather done a little experiment on breathing and literally watched my blood pressure drop significantly while doing breathing exercises. I think it was the norm for most people were 14-17 breaths per minutes and it really should be 10 breaths per minute for best blood pressure. Guest guest
A good fibre supplement, omega supplement as well as an antioxidant formula using grape seed seems to work for us. We order through a great online company and the products come to the door. Email me if you want more info i don't like to advertise specific companies in the forum. Guest guest
Hi chuck, Have you heard of the Buteyko therapy - a natural cure for asthma and related conditions - that includes high blood pressure. It is a correct breathing technique. You can read a well-informed article about it here: http://www.natures- healers.com/ news.htm : Asthma is curable - why are people dying?
