Guest guest
To Whom It May Concern: My name is Jennifer Zubko. I have diagnoses of cerebral palsy, chronic pain and dystonia, which is a movement disorder similar to Parkinson's Disease. I have been struggling with physical pain since the age of 13. I have had multiple orthopaedic surgery interventions, as well as selective dorsal rhizotomy surgery. I am in the process of trying to heal all this. I do a lot of craniosacral therapy, trager therapy, Conductive Education, therapeutic touch, etc. I long to be a practitioner someday but am struggling with memories that have come back from my past regarding my premature birth. I am a twin and was only 2 lbs at birth. I have retinopathy of prematurity. I use power wheelchair to get around and am in constant pain. I have tried to do SomatoEmotional release techniques, and memories are coming back that I am having a difficult time dealing with- being helpless and a baby in an incubator, having no choices as to if I was going to have surgery or not. (Having it more so my parents could try and fix me than for my benefit). I am struggling too, with my path for the future. Due to medical conditions, I have not yet completed University and struggle with what field to go in. I desperately want my life to have balance, want peace, want joy, want to help others. Would someone please be so kind as to guide me on this journey and help in any way they can? I just want to learn and grow and assist others, but cannot do it without help. I do not know how much of the rest of my story you need or want to hear, but I would be willing to share. Just desperately need help and cannot find practitioners locally to see me because they will not bend their fees and I only make $600 a month on disability pension. Thank you for letting me join this group. Jennifer Don't Quit. Don't quit when the tide is lowest, For it's just about to turn; Don't Quit over doubts and questions, For there's something you may learn. Don't quit when the night is darkest, For it's just a while 'til dawn; Don't quit when you've run the farthest, For the race is almost won. Don't quit when the hill is steepest, For your goal is almost nigh; Don't quit, for you're not a failure Until you fail to try. ~ Author unknown~ The word 'Impossible' itself spells - " I'm possible " . Guest guest
Hi, Jennifer -- My, you certainly have been through a lot for your young years. Your strength shows in your post. You didn't include meditation as something you have tried. I have a close friend that is in a similar situation to yours, and she finds meditation very beneficial for her. When you meditate, be sure to call in your Angels to help you release the past traumas. See them take them into the Light for healing. Remember to replace those 'empty spaces' created by releasing the trauma with Divine Light. You should also google 'soul retrieval' and see if those meditations resonate with you, as well. Guest guest
Jennifer, I assume you do believe in G-d? If so I have somethings I do to help myself and others. I do believe in G-d but he also has his angels. Get a white candle, Light it,(keep it attended), Ask him to give you peace and ask for his divine help with your illness. It is very important that you are very specific in what you ask of him, down to the last detail.Ask for the help of his angels to support you, give you strength and healing. Ask him to assist you in your studies and your work. i to am on a limited income but find so much information on the net.I have given this advice to several people and both have been healed from a cancerous tumor and a heart condition(severe). this is not perfect but the last thing is to remember that G-d said it is only through my son that you come to me, so when you pray go to the Father by asking through your son Jesus Christ I come to you Father G-d. Do not us a stander prayer. Just take to him. Miracles can and do happen. I will pray for you as well. Good Luck and I hope you try this as it cost you nothing to try. Guest guest
---hi jenifer a moving story .... I > desperately want my life to have balance, want peace, > want joy, want to help others. Would someone please be > so kind as to guide me on this journey and help in any > way they can? yes there is much help to be given....much info to consider a lot will come from your souls purpose ...the reson for being here and this comes from within you to a large extent Getting to know you, getting to know all there is about you A title of a song but never the less something we all have to do at some stage is get to know your self . Why because if you don't we can keep on going down different unpromising directions and even around in circles because we don't know ourselves well. Written high in solid stone in Egypt are the immortal words Know thyself Pen and paper required It is also said that some people would sooner face an entire army than get to know thyself So for some it is very difficult, for many it will take some crisis to come into their life to force them selves to look at them selves. But from which ever direction you have come from sooner or later you will have to know your self . You may be among the number of people who have been going around not knowing what they want chasing this job or another going down this career path for years to find it is not what you really wanted. The sooner you do it I think the better , saves time , you can waste thousands of pounds spending your time on time consuming work which gives you little etc etc Peoples time and your own time and we could be talking years of waste here by the way. So when you start to dig into your self expect to find things you do not like, nearly every one of us has got these things, what matters is you recognize them and wish them to be changed and make steps to change these different aspects of our selves. They are difficult to face but we must have courage. You are not alone in dealing with things you would like to change . Ok this little piece is to give you the tools to help it easier to uncover you. You and you worts and all. I think we have all done many many foolish things and all behaved like idiots, accept this fact for I do not know anyone who has not made mistakes, some really big ones too. And loads of us have qualities that we may abhor and would wish to change and we may have inflicted pain on others too and would want to make amends for that too. By the very name our species has—human-- is almost synonymous with child and children make mistakes loads of them. It is one of the ways of how we learn. You may want to share this exercise with someone else or keep it to your very own self But you must be ruthless with the truth about your self, no hiding places no self deception, be---- truthful. Often, when we think we are being truthful, we are not. Shakespeare said, " To thine own self be true, and as night follows day, thou can then be false with no man. " When we are basically unhappy and dissatisfied, typically we can place undue demands and expectations -- subtly and otherwise -- on our mate ... trying to get him or her to say and do those things that will satisfy us and make us happy ... to satisfy us and make us emotionally secure. In one manner or another, typically we blame our mate for our unhappiness and dissatisfaction ... and for any problems in the relationship. Some of the tools It took me 3 ish days of soul searching to uncover bits of me, that means sitting down with a pad and pen for 2-4 hrs at a time and working with me. So set some time aside for this task , it is very very important . Accept this is going to take some time and if your mind tries to flit off onto something else just bring it back to where and on what you want it to dwell. Now the setting Very important Somewhere you feel reasonably at ease television off, radio off, phone off, kids away etc. Peace a pen and plenty of paper. Welcome to you Ok its back to child hood only though if there are not too many painful memories. What can you remember at age 1234 Can you remember the events of those times, What you were like the things you wore the experiences you had how you were as a person . how playful. Do you remember where you lived Your mum and dad what were they like Your brothers and sisters how and what did you feel with them What did you feel up to the age of 5 Were you loved Anything about those times you did not like I do mean anything at all including Family members ,friends Ok now we move on to school time your first day what did you feel on those first days Then 5678 What can you remember about school Can you remember the buildings your school class mates how did you interact with them Were you accepted Write down all the things you like Places People Friends Things Experiences Work you like doing What qualities in people do you like Now ask your self the question why you like all those things As an example lets say you have been to a place which you liked ,we ask y we liked that place, was it the feeling you experienced the lay of the land was pleasing . Or people what is it about that person you liked their character some quality etc etc . Uncover it . Then we turn to the things, people, places, ideas, work we don't like and these are just as important.. make a list and ask the question y you don't like those things. This is the first part p there are so many fields of healing ---so many...but certainly i recomend just about everyone be involved with healing in some way ... i would also recomend learn meditation phil In , Jennifer Zubko <monette_12 wrote: > > To Whom It May Concern: > My name is Jennifer Zubko. Guest guest
Jennifer, My best friend in life has Cerebral Palsy although it would be hard to notice. Perhaps one would think she has a speech impediment or is deaf yet all it is is Cerebral Palsy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, chat on or off list. Regards William & Leonda William K.
