Guest guest
Hello everyone Thanks for letting me on. I have menstrual problems in which the only thing that has worked is Progestin. I got off the pill, and pretty soon those hormones will have worn off completely. Any suggestions? I have tried primrose oil, that only works for early symptoms. Basically, I suspect I am perimenopausal, but my doctor doesn't think so. I don't believe her. Anyone know anything I can take during those really bad days? Guest guest
Hi Barbara, If its menopause I have heard that a Good Quality Soy product (one that hasn't been processed) is good for menopausal women. you could also find a good kinesiologist and have your hormones balanced - I am not going through menopause as yet but have had a few problems like only feeling good for about 4 days out of the month the rest of the month I was bloated, sore, cranky you name it!!!! 1 session of kinesiology sorted it out for me. Hope this helps Regards Caroline http://www.alwaysnaturallygreat.com Certified Organic Skin,Hair,Cosmetic & Body Products , " Display Name3 " <barbara401 wrote: > > Hello everyone > > Thanks for letting me on. > > I have menstrual problems in which the only thing that has worked is > Progestin. Guest guest
Hi Barb, I'm perimenopausal too, and I use a supplement called NewPhase Complete - you should be able to find it easily (I get it at Target). The box says it's for Menopause symptoms, but it has a number of herbs (and calcium) that are excellent for balancing your hormones. It's been great for me. The best herb that I've found for hormonal balancing is Vitex, also known as Chaste Tree berry. (NewPhase has this in it, as well as cohosh.) It'll take a little while for it to build up in your system and for it to really take effect - a few weeks. But it's worked for me. Hope this helped! ~Regina , " Display Name3 " <barbara401 wrote: > > Hello everyone > > Thanks for letting me on. > > I have menstrual problems in which the only thing that has worked is > Progestin. Guest guest
Hi Barbara, There are a lot of differing opinions when it comes to health issues. There seem to be as many opinions as there are people. I have been researching health issues for about 5 years now and I found a book recently that I like. It was the best $19 I have ever spent. Everyone seems to have a different cure for whatever ails you. The bottom line is this...if we take proper care of our bodies, our bodies take care of themselves. Our immune system can handle almost anything thrown at it, unless we don't take good care of our bodies, which is why so many people have so many problems. In this book you will find a lot of information, including lots of testimonies of many people with many different problems, including menopause, whose problems have been reversed/cured. This book teaches us how to take care of our bodies and how to properly nourish it. People with cancer, arthritis, diabetes, osteoporosis, allergies, and all kinds of other diseases/problems are finding that their bodies are reversing the problems and curing the diseases when they start taking good care of themselves. The author of the book cured his own cancer. His wife had spinal degeneration and reversed it. They had othe minor problems as well...all gone. He hasn't been sick in over 20 years. The book is less than $20 and the best $20 that can be spent in my opinion. Here is an address to find it on the web: https://commerce.hacres.com/product.asp?sku=202 & price=18.95 & plevel=RETAIL & uom=EA\ CH Good luck! , " Caroline " <Alwaysnaturallygreat wrote: > > Hi Barbara, > > If its menopause I have heard that a Good Quality Soy product (one > that hasn't been processed) is good for menopausal women. you could > also find a good kinesiologist and have your hormones balanced - I > am not going through menopause as yet but have had a few problems > like only feeling good for about 4 days out of the month the rest of > the month I was bloated, sore, cranky you name it!!!! 1 session of > kinesiology sorted it out for me. > > Hope this helps > Regards > Caroline > http://www.alwaysnaturallygreat.com > Certified Organic Skin,Hair,Cosmetic & Body Products > > > , " Display Name3 " > <barbara401@> wrote: > > > > Hello everyone > > > > Thanks for letting me on. > > > > I have menstrual problems in which the only thing that has worked > is > > Progestin. Guest guest
Hi Barb, I'd had hormonal problems from a young age. I started my menstural cycle 2 weeks after my 11th birthday. My cycles were always heavy and lasted 7 days. At the age of 19 I had developed an ovarian cyst that had become abscessed and ruptured. In my young adult life I had a couple of miscarriages. In my mid twenties I had to have a portion of my cervix removed due to displasic cells. In my late twenties I began having problems with PMS and fiber cystic breast disease. My first mammogram was abnormal and I had to have biopsies to determine that it was just cysts. I began having such extremely heavy cycles in my mid thirties that I would have to use a super tampon accompanied by a super maxi only to wake a few hours later to have to change out the sheets. After running tests it was found that I had uterine fibroid tumors and adinomyosis. I ended up with a hysterectomy. I had many sleepless nights. Most nights only sleeping a couple of hours. I started having bouts of depression that soon became overwhelming. My doctor quickly prescribed anti-depressants. After 3 years of anti-depressants I met an Arbonne Representative that was teaching a women's hormone health seminar that was the turning point. She educated me on how to balance my hormones using a bio-identic hormone cream, diet, excercise, and a good nutritional supplementation. I found a doctor that was educated in bio-identic hormones and had my levels checked via saliva testing. Within 1 month of using the progesterone cream I was able to come off of the anti-depressants, the lumps in my breast were gone, I was sleeping all night, and feeling much more energetic! What has worked wonders for me and others is bio-identics progesterone cream. What you were using, Progestin, is synthetic. Are bodies are smart and recognize the difference. Bio-identics means if you take this plant hormone and place it under a microscope and take that of a person it's identical. It's natural made from an organic soy. It's transdermal entering into the blood stream in 26 seconds. I've since joined Arbonne International which carries both a progesterone cream and one with phyto estrogens for women that need some estrogens. Being that you're having menstrual problems, you only need progesterone. You can order from my website http://healthyconcepts7.myarbonne.com at retail if you like or you can become a wholesale customer and save 35%. If interested and need more info please feel free to contact me. Also, a really good book to read is by Dr. John Lee entitled " What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Pre-menapause " . I strongly recommend that you read it. He goes into great detail in this book as well as his one by the same title for Menapause. You'll find that the majority of American women are estrogen dominent because we are a chemical laden society. The use of household cleaning products, pesticides, and petro-chemicals in cosmetics act as a xeno-estrogen in our bodies disrupting our delicate hormonal balance. Plus, we pump our animals full of hormones and steroids. If you consume meat or animal bi-products that are not organic you are taking these hormones into your body and they are reaking havac as well.
