Hi everyone,

Am really happy that I joined this group. I was apprehensive that it

may churn our useless posts similar to few of the groups I had joined

earlier, but am glad this one turned out to be quite a nice one.

people are helpful to each other, they guide whatever best they can,

they show concern, etc. what else does a person need!

Dear friends, I am also looking for help. I would be grateful if

anyone out there can give me correct and tested advice. My mother

(57) has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer of stage 1 (a). She is

also a highly diabetic case. She has had her surgery and the chemo

will begin this monday (Nov 20). Somebody just told me that we should

give her more of " yellow " things to eat, coz they are good

antioxidants and help fight cancer cells. Is that right? What all

foods and fruits come under antioxidants?

Awaiting a reply....

With warm regards to everyone,

Hi There,

The Vitamin B17 is also VERY good for fighting cancer cells - foods

that contain B17 include Walnuts, apricot kernels, barley, peach

kernels, loganberries. Here is a good link

http://www.healingfoodreference.com/ Hope this helps my thoughts

are with you and your mother during this time.

Kindest regards

Hi Vantika-

Sorry to hear about your mother!

Concerning antioxidants (without getting too technical!):

Free radicals are molecules that damage good cells in your body.

Antioxidants bind with those free radicals, nullifying them. Many

many fresh foods have antioxidants, but in this day and age, most of

us don't eat either the quantity or variety of foods to get a broad

range of antioxidants. If your mom can eat lots of fresh fruits and

veggies, she should eat a wide variety of colors, not just yellow.

Berries are also a group that are very high in antioxidant values.

Getting the nutrition from fresh food is preferable to getting it from

supplements, but most of us don't get enough and could benefit from a

supplement of some kind. I am a proponent of finding a supplement

that has multiple sources of antioxidants, rather than the one-source

juices. The one I recommend (and sell myself) is called Lifeshots,

and if anyone wants to contact me privately off list, I will send an

info pack. You can also check out the website in my sig line, and

click on the Project X banner to learn more about this product.

Sorry to hear that. Just to share my current experience with my

relative who's is have stage 4 stomach cancer.

Her skin was yellow, constant discomfort from stomach, cold sweat in

the early morning and no appettite. Last weight was 59kg

Did an energy inductment and concentrate energy at the stomach area.

Whole body feel warm and perspired quite alot. After chemo next

continued energy treatment for 4 to 5 time each week. Meanwhile told

family to put her on alkaline & oxygenated water, jucing and other

supplements. On top of the chemo medication. That was in late

september 06.

Just finished 3rd chemo few days back. So far no side effect except

constipation. Cancer marker count was above 100 before, now stood at

below 10. Weight gained by about 1 kg in early Nov. Enjoying the

quality of life by going out with friend and family members about

twice a week without feeling tired. Each outing last around 4 hrs.

Will be going for the 4th Chemo end of Nov.

Meanwhile must also be positive.

with blessing

First and foremost is the Goji Berry fruit juice. Simple herbal fruit

juice having ORAC value of about 50000 and more. Second is Noni fruit

juice. I would recommend to take both the fruit juices which will

control your ailments. Noni stands one among the top ten in more than

300 alternatie therapies for cancer.

Hello Vantika,

I am new to this list as well. Welcome!

In regards to your dear mother, the nurse named Susan is right, berries are very

high in

antioxidants! I don't know if you have ever heard of goji berries, they are

actually 4000

yrs.old from the Himalayan Mountains. The chinese have used the berry for

centuries!

Goji is one of the only plant species on earth that contains anti-cancer mineral

germanium. Its antioxidants and unique polysaccharides can halt the genetic

mutations

that cancer can lead to. In order to keep this post short I will refrain from

being too

lengthy! Goji repairs damaged DNA, goji helps prevent cancer, goji improves

surgery or

chemo recovery, goji increases lymphocyte count, goji increases effectiveness

and reduces

side effects of chemo and radiation, goji enhances body's production of

cancer-fighting

IL-2, goji helps manage and fight cancer. For further in depth info here are

some links for

you....excerpts from Dr. Earl Mindell's(R.Ph., M.H.,Ph.D.) GOJI-The Himalayan

Health Secret

for free- Goji and cancer research www.gojibook.com/BR07.html, Cancer

testimonials

www.gojibook.com/TS27.html, Diabetes research www.gojibook.com/BR10.html

For over 76 medical abstracts and references go to www.pubmed.org .Set the first

internal

search window on PubMed . Type lycium barbarum, the Latin name of the berry, in

the

second window.

I personally know people in Houston, Texas MD Anderson Cancer Research Center/

1 patient who had started with stage 1 breast cancer that progressed into

several bouts of

spinal cancer that moved into stage 4.... " the lady said her choices were goji or

death,

ofcourse she chose goji and is getting stronger and healthier every

day.(Unfortunately, she

did not know about goji until her 4th bout with her cancer) I have other cases I

have

bloodwork to prove it's effectiveness in others I have spoken to! I know this

stuff sounds

too good to be true! That's what I thought too! But it works thank God!

I actually do sell Himalayan Goji Juice if you or anyone might care to find it!

You can privately contact me at either email address above or below, or go

directly to my

website in the signature below to order, they will need my ID# which is in the

sig line too!

We do not yet have business offices in India, you would probably need to email

customer

service cs, or call cs 203-882-7252(hrs.9am-9pm ET) for shipping
