Guest guest
Hey folks- a client of mine who just gave birth a few months ago has come down with hemorrhoids. I recommended apple cider vinegar and Butchers Broom, which both worked for awhile. I am a mental health counselor with a little knowledge of herbs and I don't know what to recommend for her next. She is more concerned about the bright red streaking of the blood and not the pain {reports is minor}. Any help would be appreciated. Guest guest
Hi there, Reiki and crystals worked really well and fast for me. Please feel free to email me if you like additional information. ~Des~ , vlarson1 wrote: > > Hey folks- a client of mine who just gave birth a few months ago has come > down with hemorrhoids. Guest guest
A very simple and cost effective solution is a poultice made of plantain leaves, or a sitz bath made with plantain and perhaps calendula. Plantain is a common garden " weed " with amazing healing powers, namely for topical issues such as this one. It helps to reduce swelling and redness. Calendula is used similarly, and can be bought in cream form also. A poultice, in case you don't know already, is just mashed up herb placed directly on the affected area. A sitz bath is like a brewed tea (herb infusion, rather) that you sit in. Place 1oz herb in 1qt mason jar, add boiling water to fill, top with lid and let steep for 4 hours or longer. Strain and use. A sitz bath may require several quarts of infusion. Just warm it up, place it in a pan that she may sit in, and stay there as long as is bearable. It works wonders!
