Guest guest
You need to find Organic, untreated broccoli seeds. The ones that farmers buy for cheaper prices, have been chemically treated with fungisides and who knows what else. Not something you'd want to sprout! Have you ever tried fennugreek sprouts? Or red clover sprouts? Or lentil sprouts? You can buy lentil at the grocery store (it is food, so is untreateed) Lentil sprouts fast, and is sweet and crunchy. Fennugreek is my favorite! The seeds smell like butterscotch, and the sprouts are delicious! Fennugreek also stabilizes blood sugar. Red clover is like alfalfa, but a bit sweeter. mustard seed sprouts are fantastic! They have just the right zing! You can get mustard seeds, fennugreek, and red clover seeds at www.herbalcom.com (I am not affiliated with herbalcom, I have ordered from them serveral times and recommend them) Everything they sell is reasonably priced, and comes in 1 pound bags. There is a $5 shipping and handling charge, no matter how much you order. windflower Dave R Hermanson <tumblweed4 wrote:I'm looking for broccoli and barley seeds. There's not much better for you than their sprouts.I know that the farmers who grow these don't pay the prices charged at health food stores like seven dollars for a little bitty bag of broccoli seeds. I was just wondering if anyone knows where farmers buy them or somewhere that has good prices...
