Newbie and Active enzymes in foods?

Yep, that's pretty much it! It's also good to have cultured products with

live bacteria.

Some whole foods (papaya, pineapple) contain many more enzymes than

required to digest themselves, and the extra enzymes can be used to digest

other foods or be absorbed and used elsewhere in the body.

 

Isolated enzymes taken alone can be very useful in reducing inflammation,

for example the product Wobenzym, which has been studied extensively in
