Guest guest
Hello, Del, I used to think there was only one type of anemia: iron deficiency, because that's the one that receives the most press. However, from reading one of Adelle Davis' books ( " Let's Eat Right to Get Fit " was the title, if I recall), I learned there's a second, sub-clinical form: vitamin E deficiency anemia. Since your son-in-law is a meat eater and probably is not iron-deficient, he may want to consider taking extra vitamin E (unlike vitamins A and D, one cannot OD on E: if we ingest too much, it just gets flushed through our urine). Hope this info is assistive. By the way, Del, since your ID is " mushimushi, " have you ever lived in Hawaii? Just wonderin'. Sunny --- Delano Eaton <mushimushi wrote: > Thank you for your post.
