Yesterday I posted the message below on the new IAHF Bulletin Board which you

will find now on the IAHF website.

 

Please post some responses to this and the other messages which people are

starting to leave on the message board.

 

Back in 1989 when I first started doing health freedom work I did so as a

volunteer, in spare time when I wasn't operating my moving business.

 

At the time, I was operating an illegal, unlicensed moving business in New

Jersey in order to have a flexible means of earning an income while writing a

book. The book was a Survival Guide for Schizophrenics and Their Families from

an Orthomolecular Survivors Perspective.

 

I didn't want it to be strictly a hip boot wade through my nightmare- and

towards that end I interviewed a large number of people throughout the US and

Canada who had also recovered via vitamins the way I had so that my own story

would have been just one chapter.....

 

Sadly, I was never able to complete this book. I was forced to put it on the

back burner in order to fight the FDA, because stealth legislation back then

(the NLEA) threatened to torpedo all American's access to dietary supplements.

While we curbed the worst excesses of the NLEA by passing the Dietary Supplement

Health and Education Act of 1994, today CODEX threatens to nuke consumer access

to supplements globally- and we have just 8 months to monkeywrench the cartel's

action.

 

Back in '89 Clinton Ray Miller, the oldest, most experienced health freedom

lobbyist in the world advised me to take his form letter, photocopy it, and to

make the rounds of every health food store within a 50 mile radius of my house.

To educate the shopkeepers and managers as to the extreme importance of handing

it out to customers and to urge their political involvement.

 

Thats what got me started as a health freedom organizer/lobbyist, and I haven't

been able to resume work on that book because I've been on the front lines ever

since.

 

Now things are coming to a head- QUICKLY.

 

We have 8 months, and I need your help to wake more people up.......QUICKLY

 

Please read what I just posted on the IAHF BBS, and you can add comments on the

BBS as well as send them directly to me.

 

It is ESSENTIAL that you take an ACTIVE involvement in the fight back.

Don't expect the proverbial " other guy " to do YOUR work FOR you, it won't

happen!

 

You MUST get ACTIVELY involved and let us all KNOW on the BBS what _YOU_ are

doing!!

Its important to realize that none of us are ALONE in our efforts!!

The reason we created this BBS is to foster a greater sense of community amongst

health freedom fighters all over the world.

We felt the pressing need to establish this Board because a finalized CODEX

VITAMIN STANDARD could be driven through to completion at the next meeting of

the UN's Codex Alimentarius Commission's Committee on Nutrition and Food for

Special Dietary Uses in November.

 

We CAN STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING by assisting the Alliance for Natural Health

http://www.alliance-natural-health.org in their legal and lobbying efforts to

overturn the EU Food Supplement Directive, and to KILL the EU Traditional Herbal

Medicinal Products Directive, and the Pharmaceuticals Directive.

 

As goes the EU, so goes the WORLD due to the EU being by far the most dominant

political force at the UN's Codex Alimentarius Commmission.

 

All indicators are that UNLESS WE ORGANIZE GREATER RESISTANCE (which we CAN

organize), they PLAN on ramming a FINALIZED Codex vitamin standard through to

completion at the meeting in Bonn in November.

 

The BIG tip off regarding the Cartel's planning are the press releases made

after the last Codex meeting by pharma dominated CRN (Council for Responsible

Nutrition)

There is nothing " scientific " about the so called " Science Based Safety

Standards " which the pharma dominated CRN is trying to foist off on us as the

global trade standard to which US (and world) vitamin laws have been set up for

harmonization to via Codex. We don't NEED so called " Safe Upper Levels " for

already safe vitamins. Their intended limits aren't much better than RDA's and

they're attempting to skillfully use the Hegelian Dialectic to manipulate us

all.

Also note that CRN and ANOTHER huge controlled opposition group (IADSA) have

announced that they're having a political SUMMIT meeting just 2 days before the

In MAY IADSA, (along with pharma dominated European Health Product Manufacturers

Assn (EHPM), European Responsible Nutrition Alliance (ERNA), and the Czech

Vitamin Trade Association will be holding a strategic meeting in Prague, Czech

(Note that in the brochure of this meeting there is ZERO mention of ANY legal

effort to OVERTURN the EU Food Supplement Directive which they talk about as if

its a " done deal " , and note that HFMA (the UK's Health Food Manufacturers Assn)

is a member of IADSA which CLAIMS they are " trying " to overturn the EU Food

Supplement Directive (but their ACTIONS prove OTHERWISE)

IADSA is that they did NOTHING to try to defend New Zealand's very liberal FOOD

BASED dietary supplement laws to Australia's overly restrictive,

pharmaceuticalized regulations. When NNFA New Zealand complained to IADSA about

NAHS/HFMA have been pulling out ALL the stops in the aftermath of the January 30

hearing in the High Court of Justice to try to BLACKBALL the Alliance for

Natural Health http://www.alliance-natural-health.org which is GENUINELY

ATTEMPTING to overturn the EU FSD

 

NAHS/HFMA have been trying to blackball ANH in the British Trade Press, and

they've been trying to kill off their financial base of support by trying to

block them from participation in two upcoming vitamin trade shows in the UK.

 

When the US based National Health Federation's legal director Scott Tips emailed

Peter Aldis of HFMA to demand to know how he justified attempting to STEAL

CREDIT for ANH's court victory on January 30th, Aldis responded with a SHOT FROM

THE HOP reply which strongly appears to have LIBELLED ANH.

 

ANH made a detailed response to Aldis's email,

When queried by IAHF, Aldis refused to answer any of our questions as well as

any questions asked by ANH in their detailed response to his attack.

 

NAHS/HFMA have been trying to CON the entire supplement industry into getting

behind their INTENTIONALLY LOSING EFFORT because they don't WANT the EU FSD to

be overturned.

 

NAHS/HFMA are using the SAME LEGAL ARGUMENT which already caused NAHS to LOSE in

the Kava Decision.

 

The legal strategy they're employing LOOKS GREAT ON PAPER to unitiated American

companies ESPECIALLY. It SEEMS like it SHOULD BE the way to fly, but it has no

chance whatsoever to work in the European Court of Justice.

 

ANH is getting their legal advice from the only lawfirm in Europe that has EVER

succeeded in overturning a European Directive (Brick Court Chambers), and the

legal approach they're using is the SAME legal approach that enabled that firm

to overturn the EU Tobacco Directive.

 

I witnessed what happened in the courtroom in London on January 30th where both

NAHS/HFMA and

ANH/Nutri-LINK each appeared before Judge Richards seeking referrals to the

European Court of Justice in order to overturn the EU Food Supplement Directive.

 

NAHS/HFMA were clearly not prepared to enter the courtroom. They filed 3 witness

statements on the day of the hearing which angered the Judge, who commented on

this several times throughout the hearing.

 

The Judge also was able to attack their weak legal argument, which he did

several times, as did the government attorney James Eadie. (Neither the Judge or

Eadie were able to attack the ANH case, which is clearly shown in the transcript

of the hearing which I now have.)

(Legal Director- National Health Federation http://www.thenhf.com/ are both

reviewing the 1000 page plus transcript to assist us in our efforts to awaken a

sleeping industry. In time, the transcript will be posted on the web, with key

sections highlighted.

 

IAHF is in a process now of organizing a big meeting to occur in the Seattle

area for the purpose of catalyzing American and global support for ANH's

efforts.

We can't afford to sit idly by and just LET ourselves by led to the CLIFF by

pharma dominated vitamin trade associations which are attempting to HIJACK our

health freedom.

 

IAHF is especially seeking volunteers in the Seattle area who can help with

publicity. We are going to be holding some organizational meetings for this

meeting, and will need people to help put up flyers in health food stores,

alternative practitioners offices, etc.

 

IAHF hopes to also organize a Canadian contingent from the Vancouver area to

participate in the meeting in Seattle.

 

We're seeking input into turning IAHF into a membership organization, and

welcome your ideas on this. What should we have in a " members only " section of

the site? How much should dues be? I hate to turn anyone away due to an

inability to pay, as I know there are many retirees on this list, as well as

people living in countries that have a poor exchange rate with the US dollar.

 

I'd be inclined to have a membership option whereby a person could either pay

monetarily to join, or pay via service of some sort to the greater global

community of vitamin consumers- and this is something we can discuss.

 

How do YOU think we should structure things?

 

What would YOU like to see in our Bylaws and Mission Statement?

 

If you would like to be part of the IAHF Board of Directors, please list your

qualifications and let me know your ideas on how we can best monkeywrench the

Cartels effort to take over this industry.

 

If there is someone you think we should invite to join our Board, please let us

know why, and how we can contact this person.

 

We feel that this BBS will be helpful from a synergistic perspective. There are

people from all over the world on the IAHF email distribution list, and we value

your input, ideas and suggestions.

 

Up until now, IAHF has strictly been my consulting firm, albeit with a grass

roots component.

 

This is going to shift to where grass roots involvement with IAHF is the PRIMARY

focus, but this is going to be an evolutionary process.

 

Clearly, we have our work cut out for us to save this industry from destruction

from within. Clearly, NONE of the vitamin trade associations ANYWHERE IN THE

WORLD can be trusted by vitamin consumers.
