I have had very good success using a combination of Yohimbe, Tribulus

and Maca. Works for the libido, as well as muscle maintenance and fat

burning.

Serious Inquiry About Yohimbe,

etc.

Has anyone on the list had any real success in using herbs such as

Yohimbe, Cordyceps, Deer Antler Velvet or Saw Palmetto for increasing

libido or just general energy levels?

It's hard to separate fact from marketing by doing internet research

on the subject, and much of the claims made by advertisements and

websites that sell such products are highly questionable. I'm

looking for (serious) real-life testimonials from anyone who has

tried these or similar herbal remedies.

Feel free to e-mail me personally at this ID if you consider

the topic too sensitive for group discussion. I'm interested in

knowing which herbs you have tried, how successful the treatment was,

and what, if any, side effects you experienced.

Thanks.

I've used both SynTrax's FUZU and Biotest's Tribex. Do Google searches to

find out exactly what is in them if you're interested. I was attempting to

use them as natural testosterone boosters until I found out that the body

can boost T levels easily if it has enough saturated fat, zinc, and overall

nutrient-dense food.

Fuzu didn't do anything except make my urine smell like maple syrup, but

many men have said it worked wonders and is better than Tribex. The Tribex

boosted my libido, although the quality control seemed to vary -- some

bottles were better than others, and even tasted different. In both cases I

don't like the coloured capsules that these supplements come in. We don't

need the artificial colours.

My overall advice is to keep it natural. A vegetable drink with 1 inch of

fresh ginger root worked even better than these fancy supplements at

boosting libido, at least for a few hours after. I suspect you'll find

similar benefits from other foods and herbs that increase blood flow.

For men, I think L-arginine works about as well as anything natural.
