Guest guest
Howdy, I have a question that I did not see on any previous posts. My husband is beginning to think I am a hypocondriac. He thinks I have too many symptoms to be really ill. Here is my layout: I am stiff, almost sore, all over. My back aches and hurts in the tail bone area and, in my neck, the back of my head. My posture is becomming horrible because of the pain. I suffer from a hiatial hernia, and end up vomiting because I eat (not a lot, but anytime I eat in the evening). This is where it gets gross... After I start coughing and vomiting from the hernia, I end up with stress incontinence! I am gaining weight because to walk farther than to the bathroom is too painful. I know the weight has a lot to do with the hernia, and the back pain, but I haven't been able to lose weight without physical activity, which is not an option at this time. The doctor I see says the symptoms have no relation to each other. Why do I think they do? Of course ge recommends expensive test and dangerous medicines to mask the problem. I eat a pretty good diet, take vitamins, and actually want to be healthy. What I do not want is a " doctor " to tell me I am nuts, and that I don't really have a problem that can't be solved with exercise & weight loss! Advice? Thanks, Cathy
