Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I have a badly chipped tooth that has amalgam filling showing. It has been this way for a few months because I am having a problem finding a dentist that will Not use flouride . Plus they were going to remove my amalgam filling and I am not sure they will do it in a safe manner. I dont want them to make me really sick. I went to a dentist and he said he would make me a ceramic crown and take the filling out. He said he does it in a safe manner but he would not tell me about his methods. When he found out I did not want flouride used in anything he dropped me as a patient. He did several x-rays and it only showed that one cavity. He did not say if my tooth chipped due to the cavity. All he said is there was a large cavity there. He did not mention it but I do have white spots on that tooth that looks like too much flouride in my teeth. The chipped tooth is the most flouridated. Flouride makes teeth brittle. I just recently noticed a possible cavity in another area that did not show up in the previous x-ray. I want to treat it without having it filled. The area of the tooth is a tooth that would be exposed in a smile. Ideally I want to treat my chipped tooth with supplements and such as well as the other one. I am also wanting to improve the condition of my teeth in general. Obviously I am headed for trouble if I dont do anything. The chipped tooth has recently started having a pulsing pain usually at night . It is bearable but I dont want it to get into my gums and require a root canal or worse. It is also sensitive to cold. Am I asking for too much to be able to avoid expensive dental work? April
