Reaction to citric acid

Do you react to the citric acid additive (used as a preservative in

many products) and/or to citrus products such as oranges?

 

The citric acid additive is made with the Aspergillus fermentation

process. It should be avoided by all people who are allergic or

sensitive to mold.

Hi Nancy,

 

You may not be reacting to citric acid. It sounds like you may be reacting to

the pesticide and fumigants than the fruit. Try certified organic and see if

that will help. L-lysine would have no effect on these chemicals.
