hello Greg,

You need to get a test for helicobacter pylori and

see if that is causing the symptoms. You may be right

and it is an ulcer (helico are implicated in ulcer

formation) but it will heal better if the causal

problem is removed. If it is Helico the natural way to

remove it is using mastic gum. I have not tried this

myself but it is suppossed to be good. When I sufferred

with this problem I went the allopathic way ( I did

not Know about mastic gum then) and had an antibiotic

and acid suppressant which in all due respect worked

and I have been indigestion and ulcer free since. My

GP said that as you get older the incidence of helico

increases i.e.

40% of 40year olds and 70%of seventy year olds have

it.This just shows what a hold the drug manufacturers

have on the GPs if they know this why when people go

to them with these symptoms do they fob them off with

just an acid suppressant which on its own will not

kill the bacterium and so you continue to have the

symptoms if the medication stops. I had to insist on a

test before I could get the right treatment.

I hope this works

Best wishes

Chris
