Guest guest
Hi Wayne, I hear ya about the " magical cure. " Sorry if my comments were in some way misinterpreted, but I am NOT a person who believes that 1 nutrient can cure all illness. I fully understand the " chain " effect that when you add one, you have to add another one to help absorb that, and then add this one and that one because you throw the balance off. I spent the first 23 yrs of my life completely in the dark about nutrition (and unfortunately, had no one in my life who was knowledgable). One day (on a whim), I read " Sugar Blues " by William Dufty. What an awesome book. It was a good starting point. I recommend it to everyone! I found in my case that the asthma/allergy probs were caused by a number of factors including too much milk, processed sugar, and processed wheat in my diet. My diet was extremely 1-sided and pretty much typical of most americans (with the exception of lots of fried foods....never got into that). As soon as I learned about the " variety " in the diet thing, I came to understand that asthma was a digestive disorder that can be completely cured through varying ones diet, removing processed foods, and NOT EATING THE SAME FOODS EVERY DAY! I ate a lot of raw foods, and even my raw veggies/fruits were different every day. Doing this gives you the highest level of nutritional balance, and it can be a lot of fun since you can try all sorts of new foods that you never would have thought about before. ::Cheers!:: Kristin , Wayne Fugitt <wayne@f...> wrote: > Evening Kristin, > > >Also, I have been telling folks for years that milk does not prevent > >osteoporosis.
