Guest guest
Rick, I just spent a lot of money on supplements, gulp. I have always suspected that a lot of em are crap but do you think companies like rainbow light, for example and all of them are junk? I mean I have some spirulina and barley grass powder that I think may be pretty good. a lot of the multi-vitamins I'm not so sure of, (especially ever since the AMA said how good they are for you). What I have always wanted is a way to know what you're really getting when you buy supplements. I had an idea a long time ago to start a company that tests all the supplements and rates them every year. I'd sure buy a copy! I'll bet a consumer's guide, if done right would be a real success. Guest guest
I once came across a site on the internet which for a subscription fee will test vitamins and give the results. I must look for it again. Margaret - fred lieberman Sunday, February 01, 2004 10:06 AM Re: Codex a Cover up Hi Dave, Follow your dream and go for it. Guest guest
I hope you're not referring to that site that tests vitamins for their potency and purity. This tells us nothing but that the tablet, capsule, etc., contains the amount of the vitamin, etc., claimed on the bottle. It tells us nothing about the efficacy or safety of the substance consumed, and is near useless. What difference does it make, if a bottle of a vitamin contains capsules that provide the full measure of the vitamin, as claimed on the bottle; if the vitamin has been determined to be useless for us?
