Hi JoAnn,

Good point about the number of deaths associated with medication

Medication/drugs do not support cell chemistry. They are designed to interfere

with body chemistry. That is why they are potentially dangerous.

When Rose and I hear about the side effects of these drugs on the TV ads, we

laugh and say: " Why would anyone be stupid enough to use them. " Would you take

medication which may cause you to have a seizure?

When drugs are tested on lab animals, these animals are well nourished, on the

best diets, almost no exposure to pollution, and under little to no stress.

Humans who take medications are not so fortunate. That is why there is a high

potential of side effects with the meds. All meds have a USP grade of purity.

This means that there is a small amount of chemical residue left in the

manufacturing process. Some individuals may be reacting to the residues and not

to the medication or to both meds and residues.

On the other hand vitamins do have the potential of being harmful. Over the

counter vitamins are not coenzymes. There is no guarantee that the body can

convert them to the active coenzymes. So now you have active competition

between the real stuff we get out of the foods and the artificial stuff from the

bottles. Put a monkey in the driver seat of a car and the car cannot function.

Likewise, put the store bought vitamin in the driver seat of the enzyme and the

enzyme will not function. The symptoms created by this condition are identical

to a vitamin deficiency. It does not lead to deaths like the meds. These

observations were well documented in the 80's. I believe they appeared in

Nutritional Reviews.
