Guest guest
Evening Joy, >> Traditional nutritionists believe that the glucose metabolism pathway is the favored one. Dr. atkins did not believe that, showed the health of many peoples, not just ancient, but also contemporary folks eating diets keeping them in ketosis and having a high state of health. He believed we all develop glucose metabolism by default because that is the diet we are brought up on. Over the last few years, I have studied glucose and insulin a lot because so many of my friends and family members are diabetics. I decided that insulin, any way you get it, any way it is used, and in any amount is a very bad and evil thing to have in the body. Primitive man did not need it, or at least he needed and made very little. The crime of the century is the use of insulin, and the brainwashing of the people relative to insulin. Eat fats, NEED no insulin. Fats are premium high grade fuel, very high octane, the best you can buy. One doctor reported cases of blood glucose readings or 105 with a blood insulin level or 90. This is ten to 20 times what it should be, IMHO. I think the blood tests and the way they are done are carefully, strategically, designed to " Produce Diabetics " . The reason being, blood insulin is not commonly tested. After I became interested it this, and after much study, I set about eating more fats. This is a large list. I wonder how many people ever had a blood insulin test. After a few months practicing what I believe, being my own guinea pig, betting my health and my life on my beliefs, I had a blood insulin test and an EFA test. The range from my blood lab shows a range of 3 to 21. My reading was a 5. In addition, every single one of the EFA components was in the normal range. Often I had glucose readings during that period from 81, 83 up to 95. I felt as good in the low 80's as in the 90's. At times, I do crazy things to test blood glucose. I will eat a half pound of brownies or a whole pecan pie, then later check blood glucose. No matter who comes along when we test, mine is always the lowest. After the half pan of brownies, my reading was 105. To give every one an idea how this things is twisted, do searches for " blood insulin " and 99 % of the hits will be " blood glucose " . It seems there has been a conspiracy for many years to conceal the truth about insulin. This is evidenced by the fact that most people and most doctors don't know about blood insulin and don't care. When all the web hits convert insulin to glucose, what gives? You will find a few items about blood insulin, but you have to search long and hard to get even part of the story. What do we have now? 16 million diabetics. How many trips per year does this mean to the doctors office. Now..... what IF, all these people followed Atkins principles? Many stupid diabetic doctors could get a job digging ditches ! Actually, there are probably 10 million more that are close to being a diabetic. In case anyone is interested, the American Diabetes Association spends ZERO on research for diabetes prevention. Again, if enough people followed Atkins, the ADA could close it's doors. I know..... eat right for your blood type. Well.... mine must be XYZ. Cause I eat everything from A to Z. Of course when you eat enough sunflower seeds, almonds, peanuts, brazil nuts, raw eggs, fruit, protein wafers, ( I have a jar of both chocolate and strawberry in my truck at all times )and really good food, you don't eat nearly as much ice cream, candy, and junk food. Ice Cream is about the only food I have totally given up. But.... when I eat it, I try to eat 1/2 gallon or more, about once every 3 years. I also like chocolate covered peanuts. It has been a long... long time since I pigged out on that one. I usually eat a pound or more when I eat them The goal is a blood insulin level of zero. Something everyone is overlooking, or at least they do not talk much about it, is food combining. This is the one thing that reduces nutrient absorption from even the good foods. The best idea is don't combine anything. Eat one food at a time. Time for some raw turnips....... Wayne
