Contributing factors involved with Asthma

I'd like to ask a question about water that I've been struggling with

for a long time. Seven years ago I bought a water distiller. Not only

that, I bought three .5 micron carbon filters that I filtered the water

through before distilling it. I thought I had the healthiest water in

town

because that's what I read in several prominent sources; Balsch and

Balsch...etc... Lately I've learned from Dr. Marcola and others that

I not only have unhealthy water but one of his articles called something

like " How distilled water can kill you " but that it really sucks out the

minerals

from your body and is terrible for you. The article says that reverse

osmosis water is the way to go. I've learned that R.O. purifies water

by removing contaminants like distillation, just not quite as well and

I'm concerned that an R.O. unit will still create water that leaches

minerals.

There are other reasons not to use distilled. Some say it creates " dead

water "

and I'd like to know more about this also, besides the article on

Marcola's

site. It's not so simple to simply get good clean water these days and

any

information would be greatly appreciated, thanks,

D.

PS

I would think adding a good mineral source to the water would

stop it from leaching minerals from your body whether

it's distilled or reverse osmosis...

All these notions about distilled water are total rubbish.

Can you elaborate?

I've been drinking distilled water for 35 years with no problem, and was

prescribed it by a naturopath, presently 91, with all his teeth, hair,

vision intact. He has no arthritis or other physical problems. If that's

what distilled water does, bring it on!

Wayne, I've got a few problems. I don't know if any

of them are cause by water. I'm just going by what

I read and trying to do things that are healthy. Most

problems are caused by life style habits and most

of those problems don't show up until were much

older and even then it's impossible to know where

most of them come from. 20/20 had a special the

other night that said pesticides aren't all that dangerous.

I used to think tofu was great

for you until I saw all the articles in marcola's site.

Who knows anything Wayne is how I feel sometimes.

I think worrying about health can be very

unhealthy. I've been drinking distilled water for

seven years as I said and of course I don't have

any health problems that I can pin down to that.

I also don't feel better when I take vitamins but

I still taken them and lately I really wonder if they're

doing me that much good, especially after the AMA

said they're good for you.
