Guest guest
This is addressed to everyone in the Alternative Medicine Forum. First of all I'd like to say that I truly appreciate all of the lovely comments sent my way in the past few weeks. It is worth every paragraph posted to be able to read about all the healings taking place around the globe! While I cannot find the time to answer many of the requests that fill my inbox, I am truly concerned about the health of our group and try to post the articles which will be the most beneficial to everyone. Some of us who have experienced more dramatic healings have more than likely had to make a host of drastic changes. I followed a very strict regimen during which I replaced more processed, devitalized foods with numerou good fats and foods. Allopathic medicine has left its damaging imprint on our society. We need to return to our healthy heritage, however all too often this is not a viable option. However, it is possible to attain an optimal state of health without the aid of any specific diet. Our ancestors didn't have to deal with the ravages of pesticides, irradiation, antibiotics, growth hormones or mad cow. Many of them grew their own grains fruits and vegetables, and they most definitely were aware of what was in them. Many of us do not have that option. The food manufacturers have created a dependency and the FDA does not really have our best interests in mind. For this reason we need to be more resourceful. Technology isn't always to our advantage and I would say that this is one instance where it is sorely lacking. I want everyone to consider the best course of action for their own specific health needs. This includes proteins, fats, carbs and all the other specific aspects of a healthy diet. But first I would like to remind you. There will not be any specific diet that will meet all of your health requireemnts. You may find yourself changing your course of action many many times over the period of a year's time. Gleaning health information may last a lifetime. If anyone had told me that I would be eating this way or posting to a health group, I would have laughed them into oblivion. <g> And as far as diets are concerned, the day I endured my first heart attack my svelte figure was the envy of many a female observer! So much for weight loss! I am not that concerned with it now. With the proper focus on natural organic foods, the weight problems no longer exist. My weight `problem' was an obsession of overwhelming proportions. The `perfect' figure. It very nearly led to my ultimate demise! I researched and tried every diet in all of creation, grapefruit diets, low carb diets, you name it! In my opinion, sensible eating will provide you with the stature nature intended, and if you're as lucky as I, it will be a slim physique. One thing is certain, you will be rewarded with more vitality, health, and energy than you've ever previously experienced and live a long and healthy life. This I guarantee! Good Life and Health to You All! JoAnn
