Is Animal Experimentation Good Science?

Joann's previous post which included 'animal sacrifice' as a topic

reminded me to mention a very good book, Sacred Cows and Golden Geese:

The Human Cost of Experiments on Animals

by C. Ray Greek, et al.

I have only begun it, but I can already recommend it. He shows how

toally useless animal testing is, as well as who it serves (not us!).

In the first couple of chapters he discusses drugs which benefit

animals but not humans, and then drugs which hurt animals but help

humans. He discusses the role of Money in experimentation and the

corruption of agencies which are supposed to regulate.

I have been told that the Animal Experimentation (Torture) Industry

refuses to debate the author, bec his data is so irrefutable.
