Guest guest
Carol, We attempt to provide a host of quality information for the vast majority of people who access this list each day from all walks of life. Actually the format is secondary. There are many elderly people who read this list on a daily basis who have considerable difficulty reading the close fine print. For this reason, many times I have been sending the info in double spaced format with the special points of interest encased in quotes, asteriks, etc. I also attempt to do this on my webpages for special emphasis. Everyone has their own preferences. Many times it is exceptionally hard to convey your thoughts on a list like this. We are very limited in our resources. There are no special fonts to emphasize certain areas of special interest. Unfortunately, that is the way lists are set up. For this reason I take advantage of double spacing and other features to emphasize many of the more important points in the articles which I compile for the lists. You may need to enable word wrap or some other program on your computer. That may be your problem rather than the format in which they're being sent to you. Also please remember when these messages are replicated numerous times, their appearance is changed dramatically, meaning that numerous gaps do tend to appear between the text at times. It would take considerably more time and effort to correct the problem and with the time involved in compiling editing and sending the posts, we would inevitably be on the computer most of the day just to send you a few messages. I don't believe that anyone knows just how much time is involved here. As Frank so aptly stated, our focus should be on the quality of the information sent rather than the framework in which its sent.. We need to get our priorites straight. When I come across a lengthy post I ask myself, Is this information worth reading or isn't it? That is your own personal choice. We cannot make that decision for you. My focus is to make the messages clear and to the point for the average individual who comes to us from the web. while they may not appeal to everyone in exactly the same way, our desire is to help those who have been'crippled' by allopathic medicine and help them realize that there IS hope of a better way. Everything we do is to this end and this end only!! Best Regards, JoAnn willowee53@a... wrote: > > Hi JoAnn... I find... with the LINES of " one sentence " ..and big gaps between them, I quickly loose interest about 1/4 way down. (and can see from the " scrolling " bar on the right, that there is a LONG way to go before finish.)...more then not, i end up closing > the e-mail without finishing it. > > I hope this doesen't offend you... I DO NOT mean any harm by it! I would just like to be able to read the info you post to this list, without experiancing the " wading feeling " . > > Maybe this doesen't bother others..and it is just ME, but I felt > the need to ask/express concern about this. > > > > Thanks for hearing me out. > > Carol
