Is that far away? > > Hi Mike....I guess overall, I just like to try and keep options in the " nutrition world " as simplified as possible! Basically anything heated, is going to loose the nutrients, that may be there for a person in a " raw state. " But ..there are differnt process's (spelling sucks tonight! lol) that will retain more of the nutrient then others. I also think a person needs to look at every product individually....the process at which the nutrient is obtained. Some processe's are good ...some are bad..some are better then others. Overall ...in the scenerio of " Juices " ... I don't think " heated juices " are " harmful " to a person per se, but again..you aren't going to get the value of nutrition if you took it in a raw state. I feel like I am sounding like a broken record...lol,.... but KEEP it simple...trust your gut when you research things! Often times you don't even need to read the " garble-dee-goop " to come to a conclusion that makes sense to any human being. MORE THEN NOT...A individual person's experiance of trial/error...journaling cause/effects are the most accurate evidence in answering some questions. WE LIVE in our own bodies..we know how they feel..we know what our lifestyles are..we know what we feed ourselves..we are our own best Drs! It's kinda like...hey if you can only afford to buy regular vegies, verses organic..then ya try to do the best ya can to wash the regular ones ya buy. To me..the detailed stuff you posted in regards to " heating " on this subject, is just merely mind bending....WAY to detailed! A person can read about lets say fish oil. You can get a good sense of the better stuff/verses the good stuff without getting DEEPLY into the technical crap. If I don't end this e-mail now..I will be eating my own words (BY NOT keeping it simple...lol ; ) Sorry if I didn't answer your question, but these are my thoughts.
