Guest guest
This past year, a friend gave me several types of field corn seed left over from a research project. They were identified only by a number. The seed company name was on the bag. When it came time to plant corn, it was like spinning a roulette wheel. So, I Planted the corn plot and later tried to research the varieties. When farmers 80 years old said, " this was the best corn they had eaten in their lifetime " , I became concerned. We all eat corn by cutting it off the cob and cooking in a skillet with butter. It was truly delicious, much like field corn and sweet corn mixed, which can be fantastic. > In Russia the number of people with marked symptoms of allergy > increased by three times over the past three years. It is possible that > this development was caused by genetically modified food and organisms > that are widely traded across Russia, Baranov indicated. Here is the kicker. Several people reported that a few minutes after eating this corn, their nose began to run. It even happened to me. Of course this was a " Hybrid Corn " and it would not make hominy. My sister, who had made hominy for many years, tried all day to make the corn, " slip the husk " without success. We were all disappointed in this result. The corn was very productive, erect, large ears, and disease free. Wayne
