Guest guest
Not all blood groups do well on a vegetarian diet, low fat can be a problem as the body needs fat (now it should be good) The kind of the fat that needs to be dropped are from grain fed meats and over heated oils and fats) Diet to lose weight in the long run is a live style change (the right type of exercise for your blood and body type) and eating for your blood type, metabolic and body type so it is an individualized diet for your activity level and what is out of balance in your body. So for one person eating dairy would make him ill. One person that is a B group would not do well on chicken for instance but other blood types would benefit (now better yet it be free range) Now even if you eat veggies not all are as beneficial for all blood groups or body types. For another example IF you are a thyroid type and don't eat food that will help balance out your predominate gland, over time will over stimulate this organ and it will fail more easily. There is a need to eat foods to support it though. IF you are a fast oxidizer than you need to eat foods that are slower to digest, but if you are slow oxidizer you need to eat more often foods that are quick to digest. There is not one book to give you all the info so you seed to find several to find YOUR individual diet, that helps maintain your health. WHY EDUCATION BEATS MEDICATION An old proverb says, " Give someone a fish to eat today and you must give him a fish tomorrow. Teach someone to fish, and he can always have food. " Dare to apply this to health care! Your physician should teach more than prescribe. snip Dr. Saul's FIVE-MINUTE HEALTH CLASS: * Eat less fat? Certainly. Better still, EAT LESS MEAT. Even lean meat is 11% saturated fat. Vegetarians have far less cancer and heart disease. Dean Ornish, M.D. put patients on a vegetarian diet and stress-reduction program with exercise. His patients REVERSED heart disease in one year. There are over 12 MILLION vegetarians in America. Join up today! Learn by doing; see how much better you feel. * My family of four spent one-half of what most families pay to eat. Remember that the protein in dairy products is just as good as meat protein. Any grain and any legume (peas, beans and lentils) together make complete protein that is fully equivalent to meat. It is difficult to believe that you can be healthier and save money doing it. (In Washington, lawmakers seem to find this concept especially elusive!) An even bigger surprise awaits you: simple, real-food meals TASTE better as well. Copyright C 1999 and prior years Andrew W.
